A hidden gem! Please consider a trip out to 456 Wineries! It's an educational facility for student winemakers that also serves delicious local wines. CJ was pouring when I went, and was very sweet and knowledgable. I took a bottle of the Chambourcin and the Summation home, and cannot wait to share with my fiance :)

Highland Vineyards and Winery is the owning and managing partner of the business incubator, 456-Wineries in Wamego, KS. 456-Wineries has multiple wineries under one roof, all individually licensed, and all "startup" wineries utilizing space and equipment inside this business incubator. There are vineyards on site and nearby for walking tours as well as spending time inside the winery for wine samples and purchase opportunities.
$5 wine tasting, you keep the glass.
Multiple wineries in one tasting room. Local wines made from locally grown Kansas grapes. Offering white, red, rose, and mead. Sweet to dry.
Must be 21+ to taste and buy wines.
