The contract Estimated start time 8:00-8:30. The movers didn’t show up until after 10am. We are 45-60 mins from Topeka. They said the stopped for gas the driver had injured his foot/ankle previously and was wearing sandals and said he was going to be the driver/packer. He said they would only charge us for 3 guys not 4 on the contract, which was still 4 on the end payment, not sure if they adjusted the price for this. All the guys appeared to be high. They dropped the washer and fridge and damaged the floor in 2 spots & scratched the wall 1’ long that we had to repair ourselves. Their toolbox lacked sockets and a few tools needed for the fridge to be disassembled and moved. Luckily I had the tools on hand and did it myself. The guys were nice and did the job, but not impressed.

The two movers who came to move a few pieces of heavy Antique furniture were EXCELLENT!! The office staff however needs to explain ALL of the charges. I thought I would be charged $160 and hour to move 4 pieces of furniture from my house to a storage unit 5 miles away. I thought I had contacted a local Manhattan Ks company. TMT is located out of Topeka! I had to pay for the hour long drive of an EMPTY truck to MHK and then BACK to Topeka.....thats $320 that I was not expecting to pay!! It was not in writing ANYWHERE it was not verbally mentioned either!! My move costs DOUBLE my budget!The movers were wonderful! Polite, hardworking, and seemed to really care for my furniture. They mentioned that my complaint is a common one.....

The movers, Patrick and John, couldn't have been better! They were very professional, friendly and patient with my 94-year old mother. The only problem we had was clear communication with one of the office personnel. I was told on the phone prior to the move date that the movers would arrive between 8-9 am. At 9:20, I called to see if they were still coming. After being put on hold, I was told that the movers were already there and that there was an undisclosed piano for them to move. I informed her she was incorrect on both counts. Then she tells me that the movers aren't DISPATCHED until 8-9 am. and wanted to argue with me about what I was told. In the future, I hope they change their verbiage from "arrive" to "dispatched."

I have used this company twice now, both times they were very friendly and still professional. They took great care with my things. These two guys were fast and caring. Didn't charge me anything more than the minutes they spend actually moving my things. I highly recommend them! 100%

I used this company for packing and moving to downsize from a three-bedroom townhome to a 2-bedroom apartment. I had never utilized a moving company for both services of packing and moving, so I was excited about the assistance for me. First of all, the personnel were very courteous and wanted to be helpful. I learned after the first day that the young men did not know how to pack. I was charged for the per box, and most of the boxes were not packed to their potential. Food and cleaning items were placed in the same boxes. A very large faceless wall clock was placed in the bottom of a box with heavy items placed on top of it. A desk drawer with paperclips, thumbtacks, sewing pins, rubber bands, and other desk type items was not packed or covered. This desk was turned upside down thus all of these small items were consequently dumped out in the carpet. A small, decorated Christmas tree was turned upside down in a box and ruined beyond repair. Two rocking chairs were broken. Secondly, the number of staff, trucks, and time to move my items were underestimated. So, it took over 10 hours to complete the move with the last few hours having boxes just being stacked anywhere. Lastly, I found most of these issues to be a lack of training and lack of estimation on the part of the office (which is located out of town). The movers were exhausted at the end of the day. I contacted the company attempting to speak with a manager only to meet with a supervisor who indicated that I would be reimbursed for the ruined items. That was 6 months ago, and I haven't received any funds. I won't be using this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

The 3 gentlemen that came to provide my services did an outstanding job. They were very attentive to my needs and made sure I was satisfied with everything, including handling my very large 500+ pound appliances with care, and placing items in the exact location that I needed. They arrived about 20 minutes early too.

Our movers Chase and Justin were super friendly and professional, saved us tons of time and money (a thousand dollars is a ton of money to save, right?), and my whole 3 story 5 bedroom home was just completetly moved and set up in the new place all in under 3 hours and without the stress and strain of moving it all ourselves. I highly recommend you do this for your move.... don't give your money to uhaul. To put that into prospective, last year we moved all of this same stuff ourselves through uhaul and ended with a thousand dollar bill. This year we moved thru these guys and paid $400 total including my $50 tip! I do recommend fully packing yourself N having stuff ready for them when they get there but I so recommend this service! 10/10
