I've been a customer and consigner, but it's not likely to continue. The customer service and employees used to be great. Recently though, it's been subpar on multiple occasions. No more smiles; not much cheerfulness; no being pleasant.If you take items in for possible consignment, I highly suggest you do the following. 1) Take pictures and make a list of what you bring. 2) When getting unaccepted items back, BEFORE leaving the store, compare the list of what you brought in with the items being given back to you and the list of what they accepted. Make sure that everything is accounted for. 3) At a later date, look for your items to make sure they are tagged.If you ever ask questions, make sure to write down the answer and the employee's name. This will help when you return to the store and it's the wrong answer.Great store, but the current employees are not an encouragement for customers and consigners to return.

If you're from Kansas and find yourself in need of a place to shop - go here. If you're from Kansas but left and wanna come home and find a bargain - stop in. If you're not from Kansas and laughing at anyone who is - well screw you - and run here - this place is the Filene's reborn in the heart of the heartland - and they have some damn good deals for all shapes, sexes and sizes. Let's just say I walked out with some nice gifts for family members - six different people in fact; and uh, all for only $17 bucks and some chump change. There are deals that make Kansas worth coming home to Dorothy!
