I’m a Canadian on a road trip across the USA.
My car needed some service; due to a backlog of parts and available mechanics off duty because of the Fourth of July, my car was a week in the shop.
The staff here are very pleasant and booked me a very quiet, comfortable, air conditioned room.
Room service was prompt and courteous.
I had a noisy neighbour who was off his medication making all sorts of noise in the wee hours; a phone call to front desk took care of that quickly.
Car was returned to me on a late afternoon, I stayed an extra night to ensure I got plenty of rest before continuing my road trip west.
If you are on a budget and just want the better of the basics:
- clean sheets and fluffy towels
- hot water and a shower
- soft, firm mattress
- quiet, provided no crazy neighbours off their meds
Great value for the money. Glad I stayed here.

I checked into this motel at midnight last minute choice.
The staff is friendly and hospitable.
The room was clean and orderly.
I had no issues at all with my stay.
As a homeowner I am aware of how much work is involved keeping up with little tiny details. Signs of repair a little dab of paint here and there.
This motel is not new by any means but I feel a good effort has been made to maintain its integrity.
I would stay there again.
My thanks to the managers for their hospitality.

I do not recommend staying here
Rooms: I don't believe they wash the comforters

The room maid was very attentive and as soon I complained of a bug (or 3) around brought a Raid can and sprayed all over. No dealing at the front desk Walkability: 2 blocks across to a Walmart supercenter, gas station next door opens weekdays mornings only

We needed a hotel close to the Expo Center for the Kansas State Wrestling Championship and found the Topeka Plaza Inn. From the outside, we were a little concerned about the quality, however once inside our room, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was, and the king-size bed, bedsheets, and pillows were awesome! Definitely a 4-star hotel! We will come back next year!Rooms: Nice and clean!Nearby activities: 5 minutes from the Topeka Expo Center.Safety: Parking close to the room.Walkability: It's a bigger hotel than it looks from the street.

Reserved a room for a friend of ours through a booking agency online and when I went to check in the hotel front desk auditor said that he would not rent us a room due to who he seen get into my vehicle which was a person who needed a ride to Walmart for groceries so they refused me service and still try to charge my card even after denying my service over assuming what kind of people I was hanging out with supposedly just because I was kind of giving somebody a ride absolutely horrendous and very unprofessional to say the least especially given the fact the person tried to run my debit card even after refusing my service zero Stars if I possibly could they literally tried to steal from me

The gentleman who works at the front desk is very polite and has been very helpful. He is always willing to take and answer any questions that you may have. They made me feel very welcomed my whole stay. The bed was very comfortable and really enjoyed my stay. It was very peaceful and quiet and was able to relax. I will admit that they can do better with cleaning their rooms and make it more presentable but other than that it was great. I will definitely be staying here again sometime.

The bed itself was surprisingly clean. No offense... But you can tell the carpets hadn't been properly vacuumed in a very long time. I know whoever "cleans" the rooms doesn't do a thorough job, because I found a pair of glasses behind the refrigerator, and they were easily noticeable. I am a former housekeeper and I'm aware that the hotel itself is just outdated and I try to be understanding of that. But you should fire your housekeeping if they don't make an improvement on their current workmanship. But, considering the owner's remarks to reviewers... I don't hold out much hope. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here... If I'm ever in the position I was in again, I'll stay in my car next time.

Its hillarious that they allow this to be offered to out of town folks who have no idea what they are signing up for. This is not a safe place go further west.
