“I joined many other colleges for a yearly conference at The Cyrus Hotel. Our needs were well taken care of before hand and our conference was a success. The meals that were provided were perfectly planned out. They served snacks and drinks during our breaks without a wait. Someone was always at the ready to pick up a plate and make room at the tables. Very efficient!Rooms: The rooms are clean, spacious, relaxing, quiet and the views are perfect. Wait until you try the showers!Nearby activities: You can easily access the State Capital building, just a couple of blocks away.Safety: The hotel is located on a well lit main street in Topeka. The front desk is staffed at all times.Walkability: I walked down/across the street to the various shops during my stay. It was very handy to be within walking distance of a multitude of shops.Food & drinks: The menu is phenomenal with so many choices. Everything I ordered from breakfast to dinner was cooked to perfection and very tasty. They also offer a breakfast buffet with an assortment of meats, eggs, fruit, yogurt & danishes that will satisfy a hungry appetite.”

“Very nice hotel. Hot tub and pool are indoors and accessible most hours of the day. Nice clean rooms with a mini fridge and microwave. Right across the street from a Sam's Club with gas and an Aldi, so perfect for road trippers! 4 star rating is for the breakfast being a little overpriced for what it is, but worth it if you have a voucher. Make sure to check out the incredible mosaic by the elevators! Also loved the cool light fixtures and the resin furniture. Made for unique and beautiful spaces.”

“This is Hilton property I'm accustomed to. The Hampton in Topeka is tucked away in a quiet, hidden neighborhood off of Wanamaker on Arrowhead. The outdoor is neat and clean and the area was definitely safe. Upon arriving I was greatest by Bruce. He was polite and professional. He made sure to let me know if I needed anything please inform them. My room was clean and even smelled fresh. O needed an ADA accessible room and the bathroom was perfect. I had a walk-in/roll-in shower as well as the higher toilet. I travel for work very often and have seen some Hilton properties that are not up to standard. This was not the case. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. The hostess were friendly and kept the food stocked as items got low. Breakfast choices were: scrambled and boiled eggs, polish/smoked sausage medallions, potatoes, scones, cereal and all the other items you would expect for breakfast. If I'm ever working in Topeka I hope my job takes me back to this Hampton.”

“My job booked us a hotel to work in Topeka for a few days and the hotel really was beautiful and everything you could want in a hotel. My only complaint would be when my boss called, he asked if there was a pool and complimentary breakfast and they said yes and yes. He booked it for that day and we got there and apparently they just painted the walls of the pool or something so it wasn't going to be open until the day after we left. I just wish they could have told him that when he called, but oh well. It was still a good time and a beautiful hotel! I also wish it had more floors for a really nice view but no big deal lol. The rooms were beautiful and the service was great!Food & drinks: The guy serving the breakfast was very helpful and did such a good job preparing all the food for everyone!Noteworthy details: I absolutely loved that the rooms had an adorable lounge area with couches and a small wall in between to separate the area and make it feel super spacious! It also had a little kitchenette area, with a mini fridge, a coffee maker, and a microwave, that all came in very handy. Last but not least, the bathroom mirror was so beautifully lit and bright for getting ready! I think the hotel was still pretty new, and it looked like they took good care of it. I also loved how festive it was for Christmas! I would definitely stay there again!!”

“While the outside of the hotel looks a little rough during their remodel, the rooms are wonderful. I had a double, and the separate seating area was a nice surprise.”

“We needed a hotel close to the Expo Center for the Kansas State Wrestling Championship and found the Topeka Plaza Inn. From the outside, we were a little concerned about the quality, however once inside our room, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was, and the king-size bed, bedsheets, and pillows were awesome! Definitely a 4-star hotel! We will come back next year!Rooms: Nice and clean!Nearby activities: 5 minutes from the Topeka Expo Center.Safety: Parking close to the room.Walkability: It's a bigger hotel than it looks from the street.”

“Decent room, has breakfast included.Remote control doesn't work, so only one channel thankfully it's ME TV.The cleaning could be a bit better at dusting, however it's reasonably clean and a nice room.”

“Older does not mean worst. This is a 3.5 out of 5 star place, but I will round up to 4 stars. Pros: *The rates are really reasonable*The staff is really professional *The staff is really friendly*Indoor pool *They change the items on the complimentary breakfast a little daily*Clean*Walking distance to 2 fast food establishmentsCons:*You see the age of the facilities (i.e. minor cracked paint, really worn down carpet, feel the loose spots in the floor when walking, etc.)*All the electrical outlets in the room didn't work*Cards for the doors easily lose programming All in all, if you want a fancy look, you will not like this place. If you want a safe place to lay your head that is clean and at a good rate, this will be an okay place for you.”

“I don't care what people say I love this place. The staff is understanding and polite about life's situations and the housekeeper seems to be pretty alright. She genuinely cared for the condition of my room and helped me with anything I needed. Thank you for making my stay Chelsie!”
