$629 charged on my debit card ($550+ HOLD fee) and $70 a day to rent from this location at Hertz. I should have called an Uber.

This location will only give you the smallest car they have on the lot. If it's an insurance replacement. Doesn't matter what kind of vehicle you have. Even if it's a seven passenger vehicle, they're only going to give you the smallest car they have available. Over the phone. They told me it's a rule that they made up in their own words.

This place is a joke. The manager and I inspected the car before I left. There were no issues, so I signed my paperwork and left. Only to receive a call saying there's a dent in the car that wasn't there when I left. Now the manager put me on the do not rent list bc of something I didn't do. The dent could barely be seen

The building and vehicle was clean. The process to pick up and drop was easy. However, since the KTA removed the ability to pay tolls on certain exits along I-35, Hertz was apparently billed for a toll. Hertz then charged my credit card with no warning, which is okay, the issue I have is that they also took an additional “admin” fee. So until the KTA has their new tolling system fully operational, steer clear if you’re traveling to Wichita unless you want to pay double on your tolls. Additionally, I find the practice of making up charges to be untrustworthy.

The staff welcomed me when I walked in. It took no time checking out the rental and again checking it in. The price was really good for the 10 days that I had it. Thanks Hertz.

I would not rent anything from this place. If you have to deal with someone named Tara I feel sorry for you the rudest nasty person not sure how she could be in sales. Enterprise for me from now on.

The address for Topeka Hertz is 1828 S. Kansas Ave. I've been trying for months to get Google to update this but for some reason they won't.

Everyone at hertz was super helpful and friendly on renting a vehicle on short notice for my work trip to Minnesota. Had quite a few vehicles available on short notice, and even got one with remote start, heated seats, and heated steering wheel. Will be telling my company to book through them for my topeka rentals from here on out.
