Such a great park but it could use some updates. They got rid of the kids swings and only have toddler swings which my kids were upset about! Replace the big swings!!!
Playground: Big playground, no swings for big kids tho
Restrooms: Public restrooms by mini-train station
Dog-friendliness: Dog park in the gage park, small and big dog area
Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables to choose from all over the park

Didn’t get enough pictures but we drove an hour to get here and the zoo was amazing! Very well kept and friendly staff. All the animals seemed happy and well fed! :)

This is a super fantastic dazzling park done a really nice job to update it very Impressive from 2009 to now my mommy took me here when I was little and it brings good memories god bless you people that took in part of building and upgrading it to the next level and I remember the train was gas but now electric I do suggest that I pray you will add even more things to this park and get the speakers louder so people can here the conductor. Pray to keep this place clean and preserved and don’t let people put trash in the pond or trash the place. Can you guys please put some basketball goals in and really good basketball court in someday please.

My last rating of this park was 7 years ago. Since that last review, I have spent more time there and have seen some improvements, so I wanted to change my rating as I have a lot of great memories. This is an excellent place to bring family, friends, and kids.

Awesome park. Did some time at the zoo, then ran across the street to jump on the train. Ride around the park was awesome. Everyone waved at the train, even people driving by in the cars.

There's a lot to do and see in this small area. We rode the train which is a must! This was a stop on a Lego road trip and we had a great time.

A fun place to take the kids for a day. The zoo is in the park, Blaisdale pool, rose garden, carousel, and mini train rides around the park. Carousel and mini train are $2 or you can buy a punch card and ride a bit cheaper.

Super nice park with lots of options. Great while traveling.
We stopped and rode the train, played on some playgrounds, and even got a snowcone.
Some of the playgrounds are really artsy and cool and others are pretty out dated. So you just have to watch little kiddos so they don’t trip. Overall it was a lot of fun!

Great playground for kids of all ages. The rose garden is amazing and well kept. There is a city pool with water slides and a train to ride around the park.

Best city park with multiple playgrounds, many trees, rose garden, train, and more.
**stopped here in May 2024 and found it to have quite a bit of trash laying around. Still love the park, but sorry to see the messiness that people leave behind.
