2/5 stars. Had an oil change last week only took 30 minutes which is my reasoning for 2 stars instead of 1. Asked the service manager what I would need to do to get pricing for a tune up and he told me to make an appointment they’d take a look and give me a quote before doing anything. I had some scheduled time off work the following week so I scheduled an appointment for then since I wouldn’t need my car for a few hours then.At my appointment following week, dropped my car off at 9AM and they told me they had me down for a scheduled pick up at 5 but that it shouldn’t take nearly that long. There was only one other car in the shop at the time I dropped it off. He asked me if I had any issues with my car and I said no, but that I would like the spark plugs replaced and that I haven’t had any high mileage maintenance done.Went to run errands around town with a family member and didn’t hear anything a few hours later so I called the shop and asked if they had any updates. Was told someone was looking at my car as we spoke and they would call me back soon with an update. An hour after this phone call, I happened to drive past the shop and saw my car in the parking spot where I left it that morning… so I stopped in. I asked the same guy I handed my keys earlier that morning if they had pulled my car into the shop and he said no. I asked him for my keys back and he said, we had it scheduled for pick up at 5? And I told him, there is no reason for me dropping off my only form of transportation and arranging someone to pick me up at 9 AM just for you guys to do everyone else before looking at my car at your convenience for a quote. There were 5-6 cars in the shop at the time I asked for my keys back.I don’t have the time on my hands to wait all day for a phone call when my car isn’t prioritized. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Who would have known if they charged me for 6 hours of labor for a 30 minute job had I not drove past the shop a few hours later. Not to mention the gentleman lied to me on the phone and said my car was being looked at an hour prior to me driving past. If they can lie about something as simple as that then they can sure as hell lie to me about what work actually needs to be done on my car.

Went in for tire rotation, alignment, & oil change.Dropped off was called a few hours later. Not the call expected, but was glad and happy with call. Found out tires I purchased last year weren’t going to make the lifetime of tire. With alignments and rotations upkept, they got me a new set of 4 tires for a warranty price. Had in stock and were able to get on and car back same day.Tim was good to deal with and I’ve been to this location before and best service I’ve experienced in Firestone in a long time! The young man as well was great to deal with easy ring out. Will be back to this location for further services

Attempted to get some kind of quote for regular maintenance on my vehicle. With no warning the website slotted me in for an appointment that I never agreed to. I refuse to take my car somewhere that won't tell me some kind of price beforehand. It's 2024, not 1924. There is absolutely no reason that I should have pick up a phone to verbally speak with a person for a standard maintenance before arriving for service. The way this was handled screams of incompetence.

Thanks to Tim Rogers for the honest repair of my car. Thanks to my friends, I learned about such a good auto repair shop. They met me at the highest level, explained everything in detail, and fixed my problem in a short time. I recommend it to everyone with great confidence that these guys will help you solve the problem, and most importantly, everything is honest and without deception

They were really good! The mechanic was the best as he explained what he had done to diagnose the problem and what steps he took to fix it. Your a car is an investment so when something goes wrong, it is important to know in case other problems arise. I really appreciated him taking the time to talk to me like I was a person who understood and not just assume I was a clueless female. I can't remember his name but he ROCKS!! Thank YOU!!

Stopped by the store today for a tire that has a leaking valve stem. We through the whole check in/ information process and was told they could look at the leak next Saturday at 3pm. Then I was told that since I hadn’t purchased the Road Hazard that it would be 29.95 to look at the valve stem.I didn’t purchase the road hazard but this wasn’t caused by a hazard, it’s just a poor quality valve that was replaced by you when the tires were installed. Firestone used to provide free flat repair, lifetime rotations, etc and do it same day! Now you wait a week and pay for their poor quality parts! What’s the advantage of going to Firestone? I can go to many independent dealers in Topeka and get a better price, faster service, and free flat repair! Road hazard used to be in case the tire was non- repairable not a leaking valve stem!I have bought tires from this store for about 30 years now and have recommended them hundreds of times over the years, not anymore! I will be going to Walmart or Harold’s over in North Topeka from now on and that includes my company vehicles as well! I never expect anything for free, but I do expect what I paid for, and I expect that in a timely manner. Make an appointment, wait a week, and pay 29.95 to replace a faulty valve stem…. WOW what a value that is for all your lifetime customers. Scott

No alignment because they "couldn't do it" on a standard size 4 door sedan, quick, friendly, good service otherwise

Terrible! After the engine oil changes my car showed "Oil life 70%" it was less than before and the oil color was still black! They did not change the oil and charged me 70$+Also did an inspection for 22$ and mark as all good, but there is no oil in the transmission. Unresponsible and unprofessional!Service: Oil change

Very professional and friendly. We came for an oil change 30 minutes before closing and they took us with no complaints. They even gave us a decent discount.

I’ve been taking my cars to this Firestone location for service since I started driving nearly 9 years ago, but the interaction that I had today felt dishonest and predatory. Maybe it’s because I look a bit different than I did the last time I brought my vehicle in for service and chatted with Dave about his family, or the countless times Mike and I have chatted before trusting the team to take my car- I don’t really know.I took my vehicle in for an oil change, to have my engine and cabin air filters changed, and a tire rotation performed at 10AM. Dave hurriedly went through gathering the vehicle information from me, before quoting me at $65 for the services I requested and sending me on my way. I checked back in around 12:30PM, and Dave informed me that my car hadn’t even entered the bay and it would be at least a few more hours. Not a huge deal, I’ve always received great service from them so I was willing to continue to wait (besides, they had my keys), even if my services could’ve reasonably been completed when I showed up and there were only two other cars actively in that bay two and a half hours prior.Fast forward to nearly 3PM, when I receive another call from Dave letting me know they’re getting everything taken care of, but letting me know there’s quite a bit of corrosion on my battery and that he can run an additional $30 service to clean that up for me. I’ve got some cleaner at home, so I declined, and then Dave gave me a new total for my service at $100 more than what was originally quoted to me. I thought maybe I had misheard him, so I decided to just head in to pickup my vehicle. Upon reaching the shop, I found out that I did hear Dave correctly and my services were $100 more than originally quoted to me because the cost of my air filters and labor were not included in the original quote Dave issued me.After eight years working with these guys and developing some standard rapport, it really disheartens me that this happened. Of course I paid for it, thanked him, and went on my way but… to misquote me $100 for services that I requested from the beginning, and only inform me of this after I declined an additional $30 service? That’s not the customer service I’ve grown to expect from this team and Firestone, and as a result, I’m not sure I’ll be returning or recommending anyone else visit them for their service needs.
