Very hard time reserving a rental. I live in a rural area so not too many car rental places around. Called 2 different locations fir a rental.. 1st one gave me a different price once I arrived to pick up rental which I couldn't afford, it was a $300-400 difference, I thought the price given when reserved would be the actual price but the deposit was not added to total given when reserved online. I drove for 1.5 hours each way for nothing. I ended up driving my car the following day that needed work done on and not safe to drive over 1000 miles each way, I was trying to make it back to Ohio to see my father in hospice before he passed away so I could say my good byes. 45 before arriving I git the call he had passed, I did not make it since I had to leave the next day. The next week after returning home and tieing up some loose ends, I needed to go back for my fathers services. Again, I tried to reserve a car at the same location, got confirmation, they called me back within that hour to say they didn't have a car available. (Then how did I reserve it and get confirmation on a vehicle not even available?) I tried different places and no one had any cars available. The next day I tried another Enterprise location, 2.5 hours away. Reserved, got a confirmation, but not available until the following day, the next day called me an hour before my pick up time to say they too did not have any cars available, I had driven for approx 1.5 hrs at that point to go pick up, so I turned around drove approx. another 1.5 hrs back. My uncle ended up calling for me since I was upset at this point.. He explained the situation they guaranteed a vehicle the next day. They kept that promise and had a vehicle for me the next morning but at this point it is 3 days into my bareavment leave from work, unpaid, which is only 6 days allowable. Its a 16 hr drive to where I needed to be and thats without stopping. So I arrived the day before service, went to service and then left early the next morning so i could make it back for work, drove straight thru both ways, over 2,000 miles altogether, I was so exhausted I ended up taking a extra day off from work just to rest. When returned vehicle they did take $75 off for having to push me back another day. The anxiety and stress at an already upsetting time was more than I needed, I already missed my father before he passed and thought I was going to miss his service too. I'm not sure how the online system will let you reserve and confirm a vehicle they don't even have available in their inventory to use, hopefully they can update thus system or process so others don't have to go thru a similar situation.

We rented a vehicle from a different location. While traveling it started to have some electrical issues, which is inevitable with all the electronics in newer cars. This location was able to switch us out into a different vehicle right before close. The guy helping us was the only employee left and he was very kind and patient.

This is my first bad review Ive ever written and it’s because of how bad my experience was. They were trying to over charge me by $350!! Then Jordan passed the blame to the corporate reservation team saying they didn’t know what they were doing. On top of him getting the price wrong 3 separate times they changed my car and gave me a dirty ugly scratched Nissan and tried to tell me that it was an upgrade. I rent cars every month for a minimum of 15 days and I’ve never gone through this. This is a terrible location for the Enterprise name.

I just when I thought customer service was a thing of the past, Turner at the Topeka Westport, Enterprise rental car outlet restored my faith. This young man cared about me and my Enterprise experience. You just don't find people like this anymore. No doubt, Turner will be going places in the future!

A young man at this office named Turner saved my Thanksgiving trip. I rented a mid-size SUV from the Kansas City Airport Enterprise on Thanksgiving Day 2022. I quickly discovered why the agent had all the doors and the hatchback flung wide open; it stank to high heaven of cigarette smoke. Despite it being in the 40's, we had to drive all the way to Topeka with the heat on, and the windows down. Friday, the next day, I called to request an exchange in Topeka, since we were only there 3 days, and I wasn't going to drive all the way back to the airport. They were less than helpful and said they would email the regional manager to try and get approval for an exchange in Topeka. 2 hours later, I called this office to ask for help. Turner told me the regional manager was off on vacation today, so that explained his non-response to the email. He sent a quick text to the manager and called me back in 5 minutes, saying he had a new vehicle for me (10 minutes away). I drove over there, and he quickly and professionally swapped my stinky car out for an even nicer (non-stinky!) one, and didn't charge me extra for the upgrade. Every company should be run by people like Turner. He saved my son's trip to explore K-State and KU, and my parents, in their 80's, could now ride with us without choking on cigarette stench. Thank you for your professionalism, Turner!!

They were pleasant when we made a reservation for an SUV so we could take our first vacation in 6 years. When we got there, they didn't have an SUV for us and wanted to give us an economy car. If we wanted and economy car, we would've reserved one.

There having to have a (credit card only) is horrifying especially as we are going thru such a hard pandemic not to mention they want a 300 deposit plus the amount to rent the car upfront so a week plus the deposit was Gunna cost a total of 698 because they didn't have the car we originally reserved so needless to say I couldn't rent from them even after the discount from my insurance huge disappointment

Dropped off my rental, it was so fast. No paperwork or hassle. Came in, handed my keys over. He scanned them and we walked 360 around the truck. Even got my deposit within 24 hours back on my card. Enteprise is definitely my go to rental company.

Terrible customer service. Never answer phone. Left a message for me about me coming in to get my deposit back. Was not able to make it in as I work 12 hour shifts. Instead they randomly tried to charge my card $500 without warning. When I call back numbers they call from they don’t answer. Never realized how sketch this company was until now.
