Great collection of a wide range of books both fiction and nonfiction. I was looking for out of print Westerns and fantasy novels, and I found both. The owner couldn’t have been nicer! I will definitely be back!

I visited this store for the first time this week in search of some out of print children’s books for Christmas gifts. I was so happy to find what I was looking for and purchased them. Unfortunately, as I was leaving, I noticed a large room filled with “over 21” materials that were clearly in view from outside the room. I wish I’d have read the other Google review exposing this before I had visited. I was shocked and disgusted, and will never be back. I am so thankful I did not take my child in with me to this book store.

The bookstore has a large smut filled section in the back guarded by saloon style doors which means eyes can easily peak through or a wayward glance may land upon unwanted perversion. There is a "21 and up" sign but the doorway is lacking for both children and decent folk who respect women. In most book stores thus sort of material is locked up and positioned in suck a way as to not be visible unless the customer asks to see, not here. The owner ought to be ashamed of the presence of these materials in his store and should destroy them, not sell them. But for now this is not a store suitable for Christians or children.

I haven't been here (or Topeka) in almost two decades, but back in the day I spent a TON of money here on used roleplaying games and sci-fi/fantasy novels. It was excellent then and had some rare books at reasonable prices. I'm glad to see that it's still in business.
