I used to use Walmart Pharmacy at the Walmart Market on MacVicar. During open enrollment I had to switch over to CVS on 21st and Gage Topeka Kansas. Because the prices were a little cheaper. I hated to leave Walmart Pharmacy on MacVicar because everybody was always so friendly and so helpful and gave great customer service. Today I had a poor customer service experience at CVS Pharmacy at 21st and Gage. The lead tech was pretty tonal and voice seemed irritated with my questions over the phone. She wouldn't give me her name. She hung up on me twice. So for me, it's worth sending my prescriptions to a different place. Even if the prices are just slightly higher. When I questioned her about her tone, she claims that she was not being that way. She most certainly was. And her conversation to me was very dramatic. I'm sure it was to let everybody, she works with, hear what she was saying. To make it seem like it was all me. She tried to Gaslight the conversation by putting it back at me. I am no fool. I did experience poor customer service with her. She did have a tone when she was speaking to me. If she's not able to work with the public politely, she should find a different job.

Recently had to switch to this pharmacy .. hate it called them around 3 to transfer prescription where the lady told me it would be ready in about an hour around 7 I get to this pharmacy where they HADNT even called the other pharmacy to start my transfer quoted me 15 min now and took them another hour to successfully transfer. At WALGREENs I NEVER had this issue.. Seems the pharmacy staff don’t really care if you get your medication or not. I would give zero starts if I could..

CVS needs to fix this pharmacy location. Went in just after 8 to find a group of angry people there to pickup meds and find out status since they never answer phones and the front end employees are running around in a panic trying to explain that no one showed up for the pharmacy and they have contacted store and district management who also didn't know what was going on and they had no idea when anyone would arrive. This is "normal" for this location, no drive through, no staff to answer the phone, and scripts only filled if you come in and wait on them in person.

Same complaint as everyone else. Try to get a hold of the pharmacy, wait on hold, and then get hung up on. Really tired of this. We’re filing a complaint with corporate today.

Do not ever use this pharmacy. Especially if you need prescriptions to keep you alive. They had 2 prescriptions of life saving blood thinners for my wife for over a week and had still not filled it when she called today @ 10:00, 10:30, 10:45, and 11AM and getting hung up on after 30 minutes of being on hold each time until the last one when she finally got someone to pick up and answer after another 30 minutes of being on hold. At that point, they told her that they would have them filled in 20 minutes. I went to pick them up at 3PM and the drive through was closed. I went inside to find a long line of more than 10 people waiting to get their prescriptions. I finally get up to the counter and was told that they were not ready. I told them that we were promised that they would be ready in 20 minutes and that was before noon and it's almost 4PM now. The kid said there was nothing he could do, that they were over a thousand prescriptions behind and the system should not have sent the completed notification. I told him that it was a PERSON who said that they would be ready in 20 minutes, NOT a "system" that sent a text. They pharmacy tech said that it was not going to get filled any faster by me raising my voice, which everyone would have heard me if I raised my voice. I told the tech that I will contact my lawyer then on my rights and the fact that Target is forcing their employees to only fill at CVS. Then it took him only 2 minutes to fill 3 prescriptions after I mentioned a lawyer. If you have any prescriptions there, pray they are not life saving medications because you will run out long before they fill the next one.

Last 3 months I have not been able to get my medication in a timely manner. Each moth is getting worse and worse. I have been waiting 6 days now for refills and all I get is they are behind. I am diabetic and 6 days so far with no end in site. But need these meds guess next round. I'll have to start looking for new pharmacy. I would give no stars if I was aloud to

this review is specifically for the pharmacy as i have nothing but wonderful interactions with the other staff. the pharmacy staff is rude and disrespectful. after waiting over a week to have them refill my meds, i finally went in store to see if they were out of stock and if i needed to go to a different location. that was not the case. they had ignored my multiple requests for refill of a medication i NEED to function. once at the store, they said they could fill it just then and began to talk over me, interrupt me, and dismiss my issues. as a medical field employee i am extremely disappointed with the treatment i have received. i understand everyone is short staffed and things are stressful, but i would rather that be communicated to me than have to go investigating for medication i need to live.

Was on the phone for freaking 5 minutes with nobody answering just trying to talk to one idiot ...to ask one question. The pharmacy is absolutely non-responsive please choose a different store to go to.

The slowest and worst costomer service ever. You can never get anyone on the phone and takes almost 2 days to get anything filled because it gets delayed multiple times

Front staff is nice, but literally the worst pharmacy I've ever used. When they're not making you wait days for meds they're making you wait hours to answer the phone. Not to mention any specific requests? Good luck if the revolving door of people actually pay attention to specific needs of their patients.

They no longer offer drive-thru pharmacy because they can't get people to work the window. Terrible pharmacy - convenient location - but not worth the trouble.

The pharmacy drive through is always CLOSED. Finally the 5th time it's open and they have put my meds back because I didn't pick them up in time. Come on CVS is this the best customer service you have to offer?
