Dr. Banks was great, very informative explained and answered all the questions I had. Never made me feel rushed, even took the time to go above and beyond to get different prices for multiple different medication options. Gave me choices on different treatment plans. Took the time to spilt the pills to the dosage I needed, and even gave Baxter the first dose of all the meds we were being sent home with right there in clinic! Our family has been with Companion since Baxter was 7 weeks old. Dr. Esau saved Baxter's life with surgery, and was strictly to the point no sugar coating of next steps for life or death which I absolutely appreciated. He and the staff have always been so friendly and helpful. We had taken my younger pup in after the practice had sold many months ago and seen another provider. That visit overall wasn't the best experience, and we honestly had been looking to switch vets. I only called Companion this day because we have been established and I over reacted and needed to get Baxter in that day. Seeing Dr. Banks and the great experience we had in her care has our family choosing to stay with Companion. Overall 10/10 experience with this past visit!

Our Jack Russell started having respiratory and skin issues. We have taken her back multiple times for them to do skin test, examines she keeps getting worse and worse. I called back to see what they wanted to do the 4th time she needed treated for the same issue in a matter of months, each time she kept getting worse and worse to where she has open sores and can barely walk. They keep saying the same thing is wrong and she needs more exams, more of the same pills. They prescribed antibiotics, topical sprays, allergy pills, you name it. We followed everything and she just continues to decline. They obviously have no idea, they keep throwing pills at her, charging us for everything and she’s not getting any better. We have another appt at another vet. I hope they actually care enough about her to look hard enough the first time to help her. This place did not!

I have literally been using Companion Animal Clinic for 30 years. They have helped me with every fur baby I have had which includes 5 dogs and 7 cats. They are wonderfully kind, caring and excellent at getting them and keeping them healthy. I've had one kitty live to 19 and a dog make it to 14.

Companion Animal Clinic is staffed with the most knowledgeable, caring staff that I've ever encountered. I have a dog with a history of digestive issues for her entire 10 years of life. She's been treated by many Vet's, including multiple visits to K State, had endoscopy, been on multiple rounds of antibiotics, countless blood draws and lab work but, her issues continued. It's so heartbreaking to have a pet you love so much and have to watch them suffer as much as mine has. I switched to Companion Animal Clinic earlier this year, mostly out of frustration that I was spending tons of money on vet bills but, seeing NO improvement in her health. The Vet's at Companion suggested a diet change to Chidog, some Chinese herbs, and offered several avenues we could pursue. The diet change alone made a big improvement in her health and although my dog still isn't restored to good health, Dr Smiley has continually worked, researched and offered suggestions we could try. Previously, her treatments were mere bandaids on her problem but, Dr Smiley has worked to figure out what is causing the issue. For the first time ever, I am hopeful. The entire staff is caring, considerate, friendly and attentive. I cannot say enough good things about this practice.

I was happy to see our previous vet working there. One of our dogs recognized her, and his stress level dropped. Both dogs were treated great. They settled down quickly and were the calmest I've seen them at a veterinary office.

We have used Companion Animal clinic for all of our pets. While some visits have had a sad outcome, we have always been happy with the care given to our pets. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
