This kennel IS BEYOND AMAZING! The owners are so accommodating and the property is amazing with tons of land for walks of the dogs, the kennels have a dog bathing station and the dogs are bathed before you get them. They offer a dog taxi as well I think! It is in the country with gravel road access so beware of that if you go but we love them.

Happy Trails has always been so accommodating to our needs. They are good to us and great to our dogs. It's very comforting to us to have our dogs in their care when we need to leave town. I would highly recommend Happy Trails to anyone needing to leave your pups.

We’ve used Happy Trails for several years and every time our dogs are with Sarah and her family they come home happy! We love the open spaces for the dogs when they’re staying at Happy Trails. The dog taxi service to and from our home is a huge benefit.

My dogs have been going to Happy Trails for more than 7 years and I can’t say enough good things about them! I swear my dogs know when the van is in the neighborhood— they can’t wait to hop in and head off for their vacation. Sarah and her family provide excellent care, I highly recommend Happy Trails.

I really appreciated Sarah and Jason being willing to take my 2 dog on such short notice. They were amazing! They were very clean. My dogs were well cared for and I think they even fell in love with Jason a bit based on the love they were showing him when we were picking them up!! 5 stars and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to board their dogs for a bit.

I cannot say enough good things about Happy Trails Kennel! We have used their boarding services for our dog many times over the years and feel this family-owned business is now a second home for our dog Bitsy. Bitsy is a bit of a “special” dog and has never taken to being away from home, but she leaves our house with her tail wagging when owner Sarah picks her up in the dog taxi, which is so convenient. The family caters to their “guests” as if they were their own, with opportunities for walks, trail runs, and baths. I know my dog is well-cared for under the watchful and committed eyes of this gentle, loving, and warm family. Thank you to Happy Trails for taking the stress out of vacation by giving us peace of mind when it comes to boarding our beloved Bitsy!

Happy Trails is the perfect spot for our dog. When the pet taxi rolls up to our house, he bolts out and hops in. Its great to know that he loves spending time there and that makes it easy as a pet parent to send him off. I highly recommend Happy Trails.

I have been using HTK for years and the team there is second to none. I live in KCMO and I really appreciate that they can pick up and drop off - a huge help with my busy schedule. Sarah goes above and beyond too - as when she noticed my female basset hound wasn’t interacting and eating normally. She proactively called me and kept me updated, arranging for emergency care when the situation warranted. I really appreciated the way she went out of her way while I was traveling out of town on business. I would highly recommend HTK to any overprotective and doting pet owner.

We have used this kennel for 7 years and have absolutely no complaints! Sarah takes great care of our dog! The kennel is always clean ! We love that it’s air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Sarah is easy to work with and always willing to help if our schedule changes and we have to change plans. We highly recommend used this facility and working with Sarah !!

When we first adopted our two fur babies six years ago, we had no clue what to look for in a boarding facility. I’m so happy we came across Happy Trails Kernel. Sarah, Jason and the kiddos are amazing! They literally treat your pets like their own. Couldn’t and can’t ask for more than they’ve provided over the years! So apparently our google reviews has been hacked by people that have never used our service or possibly been in Kansas.... sad that they are going after a hard working family, and leaving reviews if they’ve never even set foot in on our farm or facility. Also sad that google is obviously not a secure or reliable place to get accurate reviews.
