Whether visit in person or just speak over the phone, they are always so kind, caring, and compassionate. They also do a great job of working you into the schedule last minute and don’t penalize for cancellations.”

“We've been taking our pup to Dr. Gilmore at Mill Creek since we acquired him 3 years ago when he was 5 months old. You couldn't ask for a more concerned, attentive, thorough, and warm person than Dr. Gilmore. He never rushes you, explains things totally in laymen's language, and remembers personal details about the pet even before consulting the chart. Our pet suffers with anxiety and yet Dr. Gilmore patiently and gently soothes his nerves so that he's calm during treatment. The practice has accessible hours and prices are reasonable. There's no effort to push unneeded or extraneous products or services. The office staff, technicians and other vets are similarly friendly and professional. On occasion during Dr. Gilmore's absence, we have used two of the other vets in the practice. They exhibited the same kind, warm, and skillful behaviors. All and all this is an exceptional practice, which is conveniently located with good street and highway access.

“I just recently started coming here within the last few months because I wanted a new primary physician for my two cats and hadn't found one I was willing to call my veterinary team yet. I remembered living nearby in the past and how highly recommended they were by neighbors, so I started bringing my kitten here for his follow up shots and wellness checks. I wish I could remember the name of his vet, but can only brag about how loving and gentle she was to him! I had already decided after his two first kitten appointments that this would be the place I'd call home. It's affordable and every staff member shows so much love and care for every animal that walks through their doors.

To that point, my elderly cat (who had never been to this vet before) had taken up ill this last week and on a whim I called (and immediately started crying, worried about my cat) asking if there was a free appointment slot this last tuesday (day of). The person who answered the phone, Jenny, was the most KIND receptionist I've ever had the genuine pleasure of speaking with. She heard me start crying and told me "I'm here for you", which meant a world of difference for me in that moment. She then got with the vets and tried to switch around schedules to get my cat in ASAP, then promptly called me back, found a different day to schedule, gave me all the information I needed to feel good about keeping my kitty home for another day, and recommended urgent cares I could take her to for peace of mind if waiting a day would be harder for me. The compassion shown just in that interaction meant a world of difference. and calmed me down significantly.

At my cat's appointment yesterday, I told Dr. Wallis that I was worried about my cat's symptoms but only had about $400 to my name to take care of my kitty at that point in time. She was wildly understanding and very quickly worked up a treatment plan that worked for my budget but that would also do everything reasonably possible to help my cat in that moment. She stuck to it, didn't try to upsell anything (as others have mentioned for some reason), and it was finished within the hour. She got my cat exactly what she needed within the hour and I'm here writing this review right now because my cat is already back to acting more like herself thanks to the compassion and expertise she showed us. I could jump for joy seeing her already improving and knowing that my cat is in such good hands every time I'm there.

All in all, I moved to Kansas City and still drive to this veterinary office because the quality of care I've received every time I've been here has been genuine and phenomenal every time I've set foot inside, from the front desk to the doctors and everyone in between. You will not find another practice that cares so genuinely about your pets that is so understanding and reasonable on price anywhere that I can think of. I can't thank every staff member here enough for the love and relief they've brought me in the few months since I've made it my primary clinic.

“I recently brought my mom's cat in here. The doctor was friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was treated with compassion and not a way to make money. The cost was reasonable and staff was friendly across the board. When my appointment was over Sara at the front desk read through my invoice with me and helped to sort out an issue with my invoice. She answered all my questions and even helped me to my car with the food we bought. Compared to other places I've been I wasn't rushed and everyone took their time to show me they really cared about my moms cat.i don't currently have pets of my own but I wouldn't hesitate to bring them here if I did. I'm glad my mom chose your office and I'm really thankful for the time every staff member took with me!”

“I have to give it to Dr. Rose and his staff! My cat (Memphis) came down ill and my original vet was unable to get him in due to him traveling. I called Dr. Rose's office and they got my cat in right away. He was very understanding, upfront with me, and explained everything that was going on. A month later, my cat took a turn for the worst again and without hesitation Dr. Rose said to bring him in. He was very honest with me and advised me my beloved pet was suffering and we came to an agreement to end his suffering. This office was VERY VERY understanding to my pain. They let me take my time with my pet and walked me through the entire process. While it was the most difficult thing I have ever had to do, I am sure blessed I used Dr. Rose during this hard time. He made the pain a little less painful.When it was time to pick up my pets paw print they were very understanding and polite when the pain was still very fresh. Kuddo's to this office. They've gained a forever customer.The office is very clean, organized, and the staff is very knowledgeable. I am truly grateful for them and all they did to help my boy!Thank you office staff and Dr. Rose for your love during my darkest days. I am truly appreciative.”
