Used to be nice and affordable apartments. People have been living here for 10+ years then new property management has came in and has made living here a nightmare and they are raising rent to an extreme amount and the pool is always dirty and not working. I would not recommend living here.

The new management is terrible, not following lease I signed. Don’t move here. They also take forever to fix things. When I moved her from n 2017 management was good. But this is the 3rd one since and all have not been good.

This apartment complex has been awful. One of their maintenance men came in and poked almost forty holes in my ceiling telling me it would elevate the water pressure. Absolutely nothing has been fixed after a year. Next they had a water main break that put ice all over the entrance and exit of the apartment for 8 days DURING CHRISTMAS no salt no sings no nothing. I had such a bad fall I haven’t been able to work

I have lived at Thousand Oaks for three years. I used to think it was a nice place to live, however it has gone severely downhill in the past year. In the past we dealt with construction and long maintenance times, which was one thing. But this year we have had a slew of problems. First our building’s mailbox broke and we were forced to go to the post office to physically pick up our mail for SIX MONTHS. Around that time (January) one of our washers downstairs broke, which meant there was one washer for 8 units downstairs. Now, in June, it has been almost seven weeks since the second washer has broken and the first never got fixed. They do not provide in unit hookups, so we have had to take our laundry elsewhere when gas is $5/gal. I have called multiple times and management doesn’t even bother to call me back, take money off of rent, or give us even a date for the repair. Combine this with drains that always clog, neighbors that steal food off of your doorstep, and pest control that does nothing but pretend to spray. I would no longer recommend Thousand Oaks as a place to live.

Management must be tired of their own jobs cause nothing gets done. Washer and dyers never get fixed (for weeks and weeks of reporting numerous times). Management never responds in a timely manner. This place is becoming so gross, so fast. They cant even pay out for decent pest control... ew. So many better apartment to live in other than this place!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

This place is a total joke. I lived in dust for almost two years..was wondering why I couldn't breathe. In and out to the doctors. To find out that they never change the filters. I have asthma really bad. Not once did they clean the closet with all the dust..they just asked me to leave if I'm not happy. Please if you move in check the closet where the water heater is at! That's where all the dust live. Also manage ment (s. Breuer) very rude. Care for no one but herself. Wish I could post a picture of it all cause I would!

Lived there for 2 years and it’s good quality for the price. Office was always nice/helpful and the only 2 times I had maintenance issues it was fixed the same day.

By far the worst apartments I've ever stayed at. My google reviews have been flagged so I can no longer warn people about this place on there. Just to sum it up... if you like to have your apartment entered without notice or consent, have the leasing office ignore your multiple phone calls and emails, have to pay out of pocket for hotels because you have no hot water, have bugs in every part of your apartment no matter how much you clean, have people enter your apartment weekly because of "renovations", be woken up at 7:30am with loud renovations which doesn't end to 7pm and seems to be never ending, finally speaking to staff and they're rude to you, weird unusual smells in your unit daily, washer and dryers that don't work half the time and horrible parking then.. this is the place for you!!!

Very horrible place to live, if I could I'd give it 0 stars experience problem after problem. Has disgusting heating closet dust and mold everywhere had to call multiple times to get it cleaned. Kitchen sink has been backed up multiple times even though we have own drain catcher and backed up into the dishwasher and had mold until they came to unclog it 2 weeks later, and after fixing it the kitchen sink stopped generating hot water so cant even wash dishes efficiently. Management is rude and unprofessional their excuse for not getting anything done is COVID-19 but if you can't get rent on time due to the pandemic they will evict you. They have a disgusting squirrel problem getting into the ventilation and urinating in the vents and they have to call exterminator's that don't do anything so I have to turn on my heat even in the summer to get them out. They haven't replaced windows in idk how long and have cracks under each window which causes you to need the heat on or air on religiously, so those bills are always high and did I mention I have an 11 month old and her room is freezing in the winter because of cracks under Windows had to put plastic over her window and in the summer there are an abundance amount of spiders due to these cracks also were in my child's room. They do nothing about people partaking in illegal or minuscule things and allowed our neighbors to house a cat in the hallways for 2 months with p**** pee and food all out in the walkway which is carpeted and makes it smell. And my husband and I are very quiet clean people and all the sudden we had our door closed and the henge on the door stopped working suddenly and we were locked in our room with our 11 month old cold sleeping in the other room which was scary and the manager didn't care one bit because COVID but you still have to pay everything in time even though you might've gotten laid off. Cant use Any of the amenities you pay for and has the nerve to raise the rent. Disgusting workers disgusting facility and scammers please do not live here you'll have nothing but problem after problem.

Have lived here almost four months and still loving the place.Had some minor problems a couple months after move-in (leaky shower head, clogged drain) and maintenance fixed everything right up the day after we called it in.There are package mailboxes next to the regular mail boxes, so you don't have to worry about picking packages up from the office during hours. They pay for water, sewer, trash, and cooking gas. The water gets good and hot, appliances are reliable. Love our deck. Quiet area that is great for walking, and our neighbors are friendly and generally quiet as well. Maintenance and landscaping around the complex is well kept and pretty. There's a nice stretch of woods and creek that provides a well appreciated breath of nature. The office rarely answers the phone, but if you leave a message they are consistently quick, friendly, and helpful about call backs. Some bugs, but nothing out of the ordinary for an apartment in the Midwest. They regularly have people in to spray for bugs if wanted, though we haven't needed it.The complex is part of two other complexes down the street, so you have access to three different pools during the summer. We utilized two of them a lot and it was wonderful, especially the one at King's Cove, as it has a kiddy pool. The only real negative we've found is the heating/cooling vents in the bedrooms don't push air out very strongly, so the bedrooms aren't quite as temperature controlled as the rest of the apartment.Overall though, it's been a great and affordable place to live so far!

So far, pretty good apartments. Not bad
