Love Geekery! They have a good selection of things for games, great selection if you play WH (I do not but there is lots there) and a ton of paint. They have a great racks of Vallejo, Army Painter, and Citadel paints. Amazing selection if you are looking for contrast paints. There is also a large selection of hobby supplies.
Big bonus is that The Geekery has an amazing gaming space! There are LOTS of tables, many very large and they are free to use. You can also bring in your own food and drink too! However, if you don't, snacks (and small food selection) are wonderfully priced.
You will not be disappointed with Geekery!

The Geekery is an absolute gem for any hobbyist or tabletop gamer! Every visit is a great experience, thanks to their friendly and welcoming customer service. They always have awesome backshelf deals, so there’s something for everyone at a great price. The selection of hobby supplies is top-notch, with everything from paints, brushes, and magnets to tools and kits you won’t find just anywhere.
One of the best features is the spacious painting table, which is perfect for anyone looking to work on their projects in a relaxed, social environment. The community at The Geekery is fantastic—there’s always someone around willing to lend a hand, share tips, or just chat about the latest games. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned player, you’ll feel right at home. Best game store ever.

No aos in stock, they condemned you to the back if you want to paint and have favoritism towards one guy and let him paint up front just cause their friends with him. Better off painting at home or going somewhere else if you want to socialize.

I usually have a great time there. Most the employees are amazing, friendly and knowledgeable but a few are pretty dry and look miserable to be there. Prices are fair and the selection is wonderful

I've been in a few times, and the place is clean, tidy, and so friendly. Got great feelings of community and being wished good luck on my card packs has been a delight (it even helped!) So I can tell I will be back alot!

After coming back to KC, my LGS had closed, so I went to every game store in the area looking for a good community. I'm very pleased with The Geekery, its employees, and its community. I still go to other stores but The Geekery is by far my favorite

Thank you to owner EJ for quickly addressing a small hiccup. This place has an incredible space for Warhammer and if you love meeting up with friends for a place to game, this place rocks! I especially love the parking situation and the massive gaming tables!

Purposely gave me a date after the sign up closed for a large tournament to make sure that more of their players could get in which is a pretty scummy practice

This is a great example of how to run a gaming store. I came in during a busy time and they GLADLY looked through the cards I was wanting to sell. They were upfront and clear about the pricing system. They had snacks. Not to make a big profit, but to accommodate the customers. It was clean and comfortable- even with the entire play side PACKED. I can't think of a bad thing to say honestly...
