I needed a new windshield for my car. Elvis and Chad were so helpful in guiding me through the process. I got an appointment to get my car done quickly, the price was reasonable and on the day of my appointment, it was done quickly and I am so happy with the result. Would definitely recommend Shawnee Mission Ford if you need glass replaced!

Had been having maintenance performed at Olathe Ford Lincoln. They were not helpful and not able to schedule me for over a week, with an issue with the differential. In fact was told it would be ok to drive as long as no fluid leaking. Decided to seek help elsewhere and was referred to Shawnee Mission Ford. Brooke, the service tech was able to schedule me in the next Monday(this was Friday). They diagnosed and confirmed a bearing issue with the differential requiring replacement. Also 2 other issues and all were covered by my manufacturers extended warranty. Brooke was able to set me up with a comparable replacement vehicle for the duration of repair that warranty covered. Brooke took control and kept me in the loop along the way, allowing me to feel at ease that I was in good hands. I highly recommend Brooke and Shawnee Mission Ford. If you have a Lincoln model car, you don't have to have your service done at a Lincoln dealer. Use Shawnee Mission Ford which offers great customer and vehicle service!!!

Shopping at dealerships has always been stressful. Like most I've had bad experiences, often because of high pressure sales people. Dylan at Shawnee Mission Ford was extremely helpful and not at all overbearing.
My wife and I asked some uncommon questions and the couple he didn't know the answer to he was honest about would quickly find out. He gave us time to discuss and we didn't feel pressured.
That's not at all common in my experiences. When someone makes their living from sales (I've been there) it's difficult to find that balance. My best tools were always honesty and product knowledge and the product would sell itself. Dylan seemed to have a similar style and
we appreciated that. We weren't steered to add more expensive options or anything other than the model we went in to look at.
In the week after our purchase he's been great with following up with any questions (we're adding an aftermarket sunroof) and has texted or called back in less than an hour even to say he was with a customer so I didn't think he was ignoring me, and then a return call immediately after he was free.
If I were in the market for a second vehicle I'd definitely return to work with Dylan again. Everyone else I spoke with at the dealership from setting up the appointment to financing was helpful as well. When our second vehicle is due to be replaced I'll be returning to Shawnee Mission Ford.
*Now the edit:
As with most dealerships when signing the paperwork the finance manager did his best to sell us an extended warranty. That is to be expected and didn't affect my review. We didn't see the need for the warranty with a brand new vehicle with a robust factory warranty and we declined.
Part of the warranty also covered 2 or 3 years of free oil changes. When we declined on the warranty he told us that we could come back to pay($400 I believe) to still get the oil change benefit.
Within the first two weeks we finally had a chance to do so and he wasn't in, we were told we needed to talk to him to get it approved.
Over the next few months my wife and I attempted to contact him no less than 15-20 times. We spoke with (and left messages with) other managers, our salesman, his voicemail... To no avail. Not even one call back.
It wasn't backing out on the oil changes that bothered me the most, it was the fact that they wouldn't even communicate with us.
A simple phone call, and I doubt I would have changed this review. Even if it was to say it was an offer made in error, or some sort of misunderstanding. Whatever the reason, just communicating would have been huge. As it is I would not feel comfortable returning to this dealership, where I spent thousands of dollars, and they couldn't return a phone call over something as simple as a few oil changes that would barely touch their bottom line.
Another smaller issue, but it kind of falls in line with this one. We were also told we could get some pinstriping done at a business that works with the dealership. After a couple of emails and calls back and forth to figure out the colors etc that business also cut off all communication with us. I don't know if that's on them or the dealership but either way it was just another
promised not kept.
If you do decide to purchase a vehicle here, Make sure that ANY "deals" made during negotiations are put in writing. That was my mistake, but I guess I've just been lucky enough not to have this happen before*

Very prompt very professional the technicians got right to work and finished the job in a timely manner. It was very convenient to have a Ford service van literally do a house call in this day and age!
