Experience is Dr Coopers long suit. Just one visit gave our 16 year old cat new life. She became her old self frisky and very social. Thank you Doc!

People of colour, stay FAR AWAY. I walked into my appointment and waited 20mins without a single greeting or acknowledgment. As I waited, Dr. Cooper took a phone call and I overheard his conversation where he proceeded to speak about black men and how you have to shoot them. Additionally, he said and I quote “Many white people say, and I agree, that I wasn’t prejudice until they made me prejudice”. In 20min, I heard a lot but that’s all I’ll share here. In addition to that atrocious racism, he handled my dog aggressively. He picked up my 3 month old by the scruff of her neck and the scruff of her back talking about “you have to show authority or they won’t behave. Now pick her up the way I showed you”. He’s incredibly old-fashioned and probably should have retired a decade ago. In fact, he shouldn’t be in this profession at all where he’d have to serve the very people he has preconceptions about. I’ll never return.

Dr Cooper was very helpful. I was able to get an appointment the next day- not 3 weeks out

Dr. Cooper is the best veterinarian for my family and fur babies. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field of work, he is a practical, caring man and his love for animals shows in his work. Dr. Cooper is a good listener, he takes the time to educate you about your animals traits, conditions and how best to treat them. I consider Larry to be one of my best veterinarians, a good friend and favorite neighbors.

Let me preface this by saying that I have never personally taken my pet to this clinic, however I accompanied a friend on Christmas Eve to have a beloved pet, who was at her end of life, euthanized. That said, I don't think I would ever take my pet to this place. While it was kind of the gentleman who helped us to stay open a little late on Christmas Eve, I did not find his handling of the pet in question to be professional or kind. I can't claim to have greater veterinary knowledge than anyone working in the field, but I have never ever seen or heard of a vet not using any kind of anesthesia when putting down an animal. I don't know how difficult it is to perform, but this animal was suffering enough and did not need someone sticking a needle into her chest 2-3 times without anesthesia. I have been with several pets at their end of life - this cat was not mine, but I feel deeply that she experienced pain needlessly at the end. On top of that, after the euthanasia was administered, the vet did not abide by my friend's request to check to make sure the animal was deceased - and he picked up the cat by all four legs like she was a bag of trash right in front of my friend.I also personally found the vet's attitude to be a bit rude and insensitive. I understand that he stayed open late to provide a service, but in no way was he required to do so and that does not excuse treating a grieving pet owner or their pet with almost no respect. I would have happily paid more for an emergency 24 vet service if I had known any better.

If you are looking for a veterinarian that has good experience, considers your family situation, and is conveniently located, this is the place to take your pet.

Not very good. I took my 14 week old pit bull puppy there for an emergency as my normal vet was not in. He repeatedly threatened to kill my puppy if he was bitten. I've raised three pit bulls over the last 26 years and none of them ever bit anyone. Gave me some shampoo and antibiotics and charged me $89.

Do NOT take your animal here. The Dr is old and set in his ways and should of already retired. I had a pitbull 40lbs and he came back out with a Billy club. Talked very degrading towards me. Gave me no proof of the service he did and had to pay in cash.

This place was recommended to me by a dog trainer and I'm so glad he did. Dr. Annette Frerking and her staff are great! She takes her time during appointments to answer questions, whether medical or behavioral. She gives honest feedback on products and medications. The expert care also comes at a great price. It's very affordable compared to what other dog owners have told me they are paying. I would recommend this place to anyone!
