I am a current employee. I get breaks, support, and paid training. The other reviews are from disgruntled staff. I am happy here and so is my daughter. It is a smaller school that can cater to her needs and education. We wouldn't change our decision for anything. Please don't trust the other reviews if you are unsure just come in and see for yourself. It's a wonderful place and will take care of your kids as we do our own.Update: I left due to no fault of the center. I recently came back to work and so happy I did. They are still as fun and loving as before. I have no issues. My child is now in the preschool program and instantly was back at home. She has an anxiety disorder and they are amazing with her. She hasn't had 1 panic attack yet. Wish I had never leftWE LOVE PEPPERMINT PATTYS

Incredibly unprofessional Director. She puts down all other daycares and will harass you.Center is not clean and does not follow state protocols on feeding babies.

I worked here a little over 2 years ago when Liz was director and had to leave due to Covid and hours being cut. Last month I took a job at a different center. I called this center to get my training certifications and observation hrs. The new director answered the phone and was very rude. I guess she had me confused with someone one they hired over the summer with same name. When she found out I was not the lady she thought I was she asked if I wanted to come work there and I politely declined. But during this conversation the director informed of the reason why the lady was no longer working there and told me that when the lady wouldn’t answer her calls and text that she went to her house. In my opinion first off she should have never gone to that lady’s house that is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and she should have never shared that with me it was also unprofessional.

Under new director and it shows. Cute center with many positive changes over the summer. Very pleased with the improvements under new leadership.

The worst day care ever the director needs to quit her job and go flip a Burger She took $380 from me and then let my daughter go all because I was waiting for state assistance to help pay Get paid until the following Friday she said I need to budget my money which was a very highly big insult to me I do not recommend this day care at all unless the director gets another job

As a preschool teacher I'm very picky where I choose to work! I love working here!! We have amazing caring teachers who love their jobs, love children, and take amazing care of each and every child. Our director is very dedicated to make sure teachers are supported and assisted in anything we need. She really cares about the children, teachers, and she loves helping children learn and succeed!! Children thrive here and learning is taught in a creative and fun ways!!

It usually takes my son a while to get used to new places and people, but he warmed up in less than a week. We've been going to Peppermint Patty's for almost a month now and everything has been great. I get a report at pick up on how he did, all his diaper changes and a list is everything he ate for the day.The place always smells clean. I never smell dirty diapers or pee, which is surprising since it's a daycare. It's always well organized. Audra and Alyssa all seem to really care about my son.

We had our kids here for a long time, but the hygiene standards were so bad! When the pandemic hit I knew I couldn’t keep my daughter there or I would be guaranteed to have her come home sick. They also have very little, if any, education in childhood education or classroom management. When my oldest daughter was there they completely mishandled her, even knowing she had an IEP at pre-k.It turned out the poor judgement and lack of education extends to outside their walls, and one of the directors just lost control of her dog at the park. The dog is a herding breed, and chased my running kids snapping at them (like herding dogs do). When I told her that’s why they are supposed to be leashed and under control in public she and her companion were belligerent and aggressive. Exactly the kind of person who should be director for a daycare! This place is… available. Usually had openings. Not bad priced. As long as you don’t expect much and just need someplace to drop your kids off because you don’t have any better options, it’s fine.

After 3 years there is now a new director at Peppermint Patty's. Staffed with well informed teachers, it's a great place for kids to learn . There are safe play areas inside and outside that have recently been cleaned and updated. Check it out.

Our daughter went to Peppermint Patty’s from around around 20 months until she left for kindergarten this year. She had several good teachers and was ALWAYS happy when we would pick her up.

My children want to go to school every morning, and are happy when I pick them in the afternoons! The staff are kind and want to be teaching, and have handled this covid-19 situation in a way that has made us all feel good about taking our children to them. If you have read bad reviews, it is about previous staff that no longer work at this delightful childcare center.
