My wife was sick for several days so we went to this Minute Clinic for help. The two ladies staffing it were amazing. Courtney and Kellie went above and beyond for her. Courtney tested her for several things and ultimately told us she had Covid. On to Kellie to discuss what that meant. She spent a very generous amount of time with her and prescribed some antiviral medicine. We had some trouble with our insurance at the pharmacy but both ladies worked with our insurance and the VA to resolve it. In very short order it was resolved and my wife had her medicine. These two health care professionals really went the extra mile to provide excellent care for my wife when she needed it. Now a week later my wife is still recovering but doing much better than she was. I can’t thank Courtney and Kellie enough for how well they did their jobs and how caring and professional they were. Well done you two!

Have always loved going here and taking my kids here because it’s convenient and I’ve always had good experiences. Not this time. Took my son to be seen for a rash on his face. Put him on antibiotics and there was still one spot left that I didn’t know what it was so I took him back a week later. Told me it was still an infection and put him on antibiotics for 7 more days. Still didn’t go away. Now the rash is spreading again! I have called 5 times and spent numerous hours trying to get them to fax a referral to children’s mercy dermatology. You can’t call and speak to the nurse practitioners directly, you have to call the main minute clinic number and sit on hold for 30 minutes to speak to anyone to then tell them what’s going on so they can leave the nurse practitioner a message! Supposed to call in my sons referral a week ago and still haven’t done it and I’ve called 3 times. Shouldn’t be this hard to get it done!

Nurse practitioner took two phone calls in the room while I was being seen. One lasted about 5 minutes, with the person being on speaker, and the other lasted around two minutes. How professional... I also always seem to get a weird condescending vibe from the people at these clinics. I don't know how else to describe it. It's annoying and slightly uncomfortable. The longer I'm in there the more I just want to leave without even getting treated.

Terrible place that I will never return to. Made an appointment since they don't truly honor walk-ins and waited 45mins after checking in for my appointment with no response or nobody there to tell you what was going on.Terrible place, terrible service. Go elsewhere. Not worth the time or effort!

FYI, when they say walk-ins are welcome, that means “by availability.” So if it does not allow you to make an appointment for that day, don’t waste your time. I was literally the ONLY person in the waiting room and when the nurse practitioner or PA (whatever her credentials were) came out after finishing with a patient, she would not see me. I have always had poor customer service with CVS, so not sure why expected anything else. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

I really have nothing but great things to say about the CVS Minute Clinic in Shawnee. When I had a urinary tract infection a couple of weeks ago, my own primary care physician didn't give me the time of day. I turned to Google to see if there were any clinics in the area that would see me. I found CVS! I got an appointment that same day, was treated by a wonderful NP named Mary, and received a prescription that cured my infection. A few days later, again after my PCP couldn't get me in, I went back to see Goldie who refilled my prescriptions before they ran out. In all, I've had the opportunity to be helped by 3 NP's in that clinic and they are all wonderful. They are on top of my conditions and are helping me get everything under control. I highly recommend this clinic!

I read negative reviews so was skeptical, but decided to drive the extra 2 minutes to come here instead of the one on roe just because it’s in the inner city and probably more busy. Mary was very nice and helpful, helped me confirm my insurance covered the visit and I didn’t have to pay. Total of 35 minutes from check in to leaving with my prescription for pink eye

Went in this evening and the 2 ladies were so kind and great. I was able to get right in, only waited 15 minutes for a script and everyone was so great. Very clean and professional.

Went in yesterday to be seen about a persistent cough. I was approached with incredible bedside manner with the NP. However, if you need medications, I'd suggest taking them to the Wal-Mart down the road to be filled. Pharmacists acted like we were a nuisance and didn't wanna deal with us.
