I bought one of my purchases ever here. And I am so grateful for the helpful staff member who climbed up a ladder to find it for me on the upper shelf. It is a devise that pumps up my car tires in a jiff. I can add air to each tire in the comfort of my garage, rather than the icy lot of a gas station (where my fingers freeze up in the attempt).

Bought a flat-top grill to be delivered. The store damaged it during assembly. This changed the delivery date to another week out and was communicated on the day delivery was expected (a week later). New date was a week out, even though a new purchase would be here in 2 days. No priority given to me. Tried to change delivery address locally and customer service rep was not empowered to do so. The only action she could take was to cancel the order. Really? Their new date was 5 days out. I would up cancelling the order. Re-ordering through the Overland Park store and getting delivery in 2 days. I understand things happen. But the store should step up and do something about it. So disappointed in Lowes for not empowering CS reps and not offering any restitution for not keeping their promises (or at least commitments).

We bought automatic blinds for over $2,000 and it was the worst purchase experience of my life. After 7 months of talking to the manager and sending demand letters (I'm a lawyer) they still don't work. This place is a mess. They don't call back or fix problems. I will NEVER shop at a Lowe's and especially not this one ever again.

As far as selection, I'm usually able to find what I came in for, and the prices are commensurate with their competitors. What really sets this store apart for me is the helpfulness of the sales associates. Today when I was in the store, four people offered to help me, which saved me a lot of time and frustration of hunting down the items by myself. For me, this sets them apart from their main competitor. Will definitely be back!

I want into Lowe's in Shawnee for a few things. I could sense the " attitude" from Andrew, the guy cutting my lumber. The 2 other men here there very nice and helpful. Andrew shouldn't look at people and " assume". I don't at my job and U expect they same treatment.

This store hasn't gone downhill, it's gone off a cliff. Sales associates are largely friendly and seem interested in helping customers, but delivery and installation has been contracted out to lazy, disreputable third parties that Lowe's pretends to have no control over. We bought a major kitchen appliance and the delivery company refuses to show up as scheduled with the product. Lowe's store manager says he can't control whether they show up or not and advised me to complain to his manager or else nothing will ever change. WTF? I was told the store manager would call me about the problem, but I have not received a call from the cowardly store manager. We also had major problems with a custom counter top for a bathroom vanity. Lowe's had one company delivery it, but paid a different contractor to install it, so we had to wait for that contractor to call us to schedule. The stone company guys who delivered it expressed frustration about not being able to help and told us they've been dealing with a lot of pissed off Lowe's customers. Meanwhile the vanity top we ordered has sat on our bedroom floor in pieces for over a two weeks. When the installer finally did show up and unboxed the sinks he saw one was broken. He installed the unbroken sink and left a hole in the vanity where the broken sink should have been. He also didn't secure the shut off valve under the sink so water leaked through our floor and the ceiling below. It took an additional two weeks for the stone company to get a replacement sink for us. While all this was going on the local store manager was 100% absent. This store wouldn't return my calls or help us at all. We got Lowes corporate headquarters involved by bashing the company on social media pages, or the problems may never have been resolved. The good news is there is a Home Depot across the street and a new Menards right down the road.

Hey there! My girlfriend and I were looking for a stainless steel refrigerator, so we to Lowes on Metcalf in OP. We found one but it was display, so we asked if we could buy the display- Nope! We had the guy check other stores- Shawnee was said to have two so we went there, with no fridge to be found so we left kind of disappointed. We left our number just in case not thinking any of it! Next morning I woke up to a voicemail from Sammy Samaroo saying he located the fridge and to show up and pay for it! Sammy made our day! I kinda think he went above and beyond what is called for! Happy customer here!

Worst experience ever. Do not use Lowe’s Installation Services. I cannot stress this enough. I was charged for my project in august. Materials were scheduled to be delivered September 22. When they didn’t show up I called the installation 800 number. After being on the phone for nearly two hours I was told that my delivery had been pushed back to October 27th. After some back and forth it was determined that the materials could be here sometime the next morning. The installer showed up midday and spent a few hours removing the old fence and setting posts. While setting the posts I was made aware that they had severed a major electrical/communications line. Rather than having anyone out to fix that issue, they proceeded to set the post over the severed line and pour concrete into the hole. Mid afternoon I was told that they would be back the next day. No one showed up. I called and left messages as well as sent texts throughout the day. I did not hear from anyone until later that evening and was told that they were tied up on another job. I am now left with no fence for our dogs, horses and goats. Additionally I had to pay a painter for a days work because I had to cancel him at the last minute. I also had to cancel a hay delivery because the installers crap is still all over my driveway and blocking the lane to our barn. The customer service and entire experience as a whole has been beyond disappointing.
I cannot stress this enough…..DO NOT USE LOWES INSTALLATION SERVICES. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE FEEL FREE TO CALL ME AT 913-486-8137. I know that my line will be free because Lowe’s nor the installer sure as hell aren’t calling me to rectify this situation

Went To purchase a $3000+ mower last night. Was told they were buried and they would be able to get one out to assemble. It was 5:30pm. We were told they'd have it out and ready for pick up this afternoon. Called, the assemblers didn't get to it so it will be later in the week when the 'get to it'. Seems they don't feel a guaranteed $3000+ purchase is worth much, nor is honoring your word. Felt more of a hassle to them.

Do not buy cabinets from Lowes at any price. Just a complete bumble from start to finish. I'm now two months into the process and was just told the cabinet install was two weeks away even tho the installer knew the date the cabinets were to be delivered. They have been sitting here a week. They came to check them in and now it's another two weeks. Then they have to be measured for the granite tops and that's another two weeks. I understood the process to be much quicker and I have my kitchen torn out and company coming the end of the month. Nobody seems to care. Oh, well. DO NOT BUY CABINETS FROM THESE IDIOTS. COMPLETE BUMBLE FROM START TO FINISH. $13,000 AND STILL WAITING.

I've been shopping here for years. This is my Home improvement store as a DIY doer. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Whenever an issue has come up they are always quick to fix, or refund. Their products are the best in my opinion. This is the place to shop.

Want to shout out to Mike the installer of our dishwasher and microwave. Mike is a very experienced installer and knows his appliances. He is personable and will discuss any concerns you may have and offer solutions. When you buy an appliance to be installed, ask for Mike to perform the installation(s).

A shout out to Adam and Craig in the Roof/Guttering department that helped me out tremendously today! I needed a downspout piece and they only had one in stock. I asked if they could cut down a 10' downspout for me (fully knowing I would pay for the whole piece which was fine) and they went above and beyond and they cut it down to size. I know it wasn't part of their job description and could have easily told me no but I will be forever grateful for them in assisting me! Treat others as you would want to be treated! Thank you Adam and Craig!!!

My mom and I went to this lowe's because we read the good reviews. once we got there we went to the shower section where is where we needed the help. there was no one there so we went to customer service. we picked out a shower head and the sign said they would have someone come install it. once we got to customer service they said they didn't have anyone that could install it and we would have to go to a whole other place. once we said we were leaving the man starting laughing at us. I don't recommend this lowe's because of the unfriendly "help" we received.
