I have never received such awful service. My dr office mistakenly sent an rx to a different pharmacy and I needed to have it transferred to the 63rd st branch. That took 3 hours and 5 phone calls. Then, although they initially told me it was in stock, it turned out not to be available. They offered me one dose of the medicine but it was 2 -100 mg pills, whereas my Rx had been for a200mg dose. I gladly took that, as I was feeling quite ill, But they assured me they'd have an overnight delivery and they'd have it first thing in the morning. I called at shortly after opening and no, there was no delivery, another shipment would come by noon. Soi called at 1220 and guess what. My meds were not on the shipment.
I tried to explain my frustration to the pharm tech, who literally didn't even respond to me, but hung up on me.
This will be the last time I ever get an rx from HyVee pharmacy.

My experience with this Hy-Vee Pharmacy location has been great. Rarely have I encountered an issue. I have always found the staff helpful and friendly.

Most unhelpful/rude pharmacy I have ever worked with. I needed a script transferred and apparently for them to pick up the phone to transfer from another pharmacy is going a little too above and beyond cause the women sounded annoyed and hung up on me mid conversation. Zero follow through and bad business.

This pharmacy is terrible. It takes days to get prescriptions. I've been told to come back the next day, then when returning, told to come back again later. This has happened more than once.

This pharmacy is terrible. They never have anything in stock. They don’t answer the phone. They don’t try to help. I was physically at the pharmacy today to try to get answers about a script for my son since they wouldn’t answer the phone and I watched as they ignored the phone calls from my pediatrician office. We are no longer using them.Edit: See below how they asked me to email them to address my review? I did just that and, of course, they never responded to my email.

Met at the door by a pretty rude youngster at 10:00 telling me basically to get lost because they are closed. I asked when that happened because I checked google before I drove out and google has hivee on 291 open till 11:00. He said it just happened this week. I told him he ought to think about putting signs up at least. He said 'i know'.I sort of got the impression they all had some party to attract to.By the way, stores usually extend their hours during the holiday season not shorten them.

Every time I have been to this pharmacy, the customer service, and attitudes of each and every clerk has been awful! I have just filled my last prescription there, because there are too many pharmacies that have nice, courteous, and kind people to work with

It is sad that all good experiences I have had with pharmacy staff are dissolved by the continuing negative interactions of the few individuals that are dismissive and hostile with terrible customer service. It is easy to see that staff are exhausted and overworked. Everyone seems stressed and overstimulated. If a simple question is asked, about insurance questions, regarding cost, or why something is different. Certain individuals ( not all ) become very hostile with the customers and are very rude and dismissive. The man in front of me recently was simply asking questions about why his medication was more than normal. The staff member was very loud, was very rude to him and dismissive, and made him wait a extremely long time for any answers, and seemed angry with him for wanting to know. You could tell it embarrassed him. It was just sad to watch. You shouldn’t treat people like that. I have had many pleasant interactions but a few awful ones myself. Seeing that man treated like that really just blew me away. The staff just seem overwhelmed and exhausted and a few are taking it out on customers. It’s just sad.

This pharmacy never fails to piss me off. You get a text saying your Rx is filled, you call to check, they say it is ready, you show up, you get told it has not been filled and that you’re gonna have to wait another 45 minutes even though they told you it was indeed already filled. Whatever. Today, I called to see when a Rx would be ready as I would be going out of town and would be needing it. The person on the phone told me they were actively working on it as they spoke with me and would be ready in 30. Nearly 2 hours later I showed up and was told that the medication I had called in was coming from a different pharmacy and would not be arriving until tomorrow morning. When I mentioned that I had spoken with someone a few hours ago who had told me they were actively filling my Rx and that it would be ready shortly, the woman at the window gave a very annoyed sigh and said she’d double check. She then came back to the window and told me that they would have it ready in 45 minutes, after lying to me and saying they wouldn’t have any until the next day. I understand that things are busy and can take time. But don’t lie to me about it. Just say “oops, isn’t done yet. It’s gonna be a minute but we will get you taken care of” it’s REALLY not that hard.

I called in a prescription on Thurs; recording said it would be ready at 3pm on Fri. Never got a text from them so I called on Monday and was told they were out of my prescription and that I need to find another pharmacy that has it and they would transfer my prescription. Why didn't they notify me of this? The pharmacist was extremely rude. I will never use this pharmacy again! I found another HyVee Pharmacy that did have my medicine.

The current staff here are consistently rude and impatient. They’re busy, which is easy to see, but they seem to think that gives them license to treat customers like obstacles that are slowing them down. In my most recent experience, they incorrectly input a voucher and then couldn’t give me the time of day as I figured out the problem. One person even hung up on me. Five hours later, someone figured out it was their fault when I talked with the fourth different person about it. When I gave my name at pickup, the lead pharmacist who made the original data entry mistake avoided eye contact, offered no apology, and in keeping with her consistent behavior, gave the general impression of indifference and unaccountability. Done with this pharmacy until the current staff is cleared out.** Update: I did call store management when they offered to talk. The manager I spoke with didn’t know anything about my review and didn’t seem to know anything about past negative reviews. Look at the 1- and 2-star reviews within the last 12 months about the pharmacy or that reference the pharmacy. How many will it take until your whole management team actually understands your pharmacy has a problem worth doing more than giving lip service about? Hard to believe you take these kinds of complaints seriously when anyone who looks can see a year-long pattern of the same negative customer experiences in the public reviews. And those are just the people speaking up.
