Honestly, I've remained at this bank since I was 14, simply because I've never had a problem with them nor did i ever see a reason to bank somewhere else. The banks' customer service has always been great, most, know me by my first name. But today, the staff at the Shawnee KS location exceeded their normal customer service by a LANDSLIDE! Today I had a large check to deposit, from a small loan company. I did my own research and felt pretty good about using it. The teller I worked with today, felt "ok" about it, but suggested I put the check on hold, just as a final precaution, and wait until it clears. About 30 minutes after leaving the bank, I get a phone call from "my regular" teller. She was calling to talk to me personally (rather than putting it all together from the information she was being told), and make sure I was making an adequate choice, and discuss with me OUR plan in moving forward with this loan/check. Unless this kind of care changes, I'm 99% I will bank with no one else. Thanks Great Western Bank, you ARE the best!!!

My debit card won't work! And when I call them to see why it isn't working they say it's fine. It should be. Not a helpful company

Absolutely horrible bank. Do not trust them. They will tell you what you want to hear and then do not follow through. Our family was deeply hurt by this bank.

Left My card in their ATM, called to have them grab it for me for safe keeping was told over the phone that this should not be a problem. 2 hours later called them to see if they had retrieved, the person who answered the phone was very rude and told me that their atm had shredded my card due to it being a card with there bank. I was astounded, and am very upset.
