I had never been to this location, but I walked in on impulse to cut off about 7 inches of my hair and trust that they would give me the pixie cut/bob I've been thinking about for sometime. Bernice was my stylist and she paid very close attention to detail and even gave me advice on how to style it. I absolutely love my new haircut!! She did an amazing job! Thank you Bernice!

Danny was great, very meticulous. I hadn’t intended to get my hair trimmed but after she did my granddaughters I had her do mine.

This is a walk-in salon and they closed at 5:15pm when signage stated 6pm.
Replying back to the message I received, there were 4 stylists in the store. Only one was finishing with a client while the other three were doing closing duties like taking out trash. How do I know this? Because we sat in the parking lot for the next 15 minutes watching the employees hide in the back and only one client sitting in a chair.

I walked in one afternoon for a shampoo and cut only.
The shampoo was great, the length was perfect, but I have several places where strands of hairs are hanging longer along the bottom.
It's longer on one side, the layers are long vs medium as I asked, it's choppy vs blended, and it flips up vs under.
She cut my hair in 10-15 minutes, skipped the perimeter, didn't undercut it, took wide partings when layering and didn't check it after. I knew when she skipped the perimeter first it was not going to turn out well. It looks like a total mess.
I did hair for 20 years and you never know who's going to end up in your chair. I would never have done this to a client, regular or walk-in.
I'm not interested in having it corrected.
I won't be back or recommend your shop.
Get your pride back in your craft and start doing better, but it's too late for me.

For a long time now, I've gone to Kylie (the manager at the Fantastic Sam's on 75th St) for my haircuts & color, & she always does a great job. I had tried many other stylists because none of them cut or blow dried my hair the way I wanted it, but Kylie did the cut & blow dry perfectly the first time! It's so great being able to totally trust her with my hair every time. FS doesn't take appointments, but to limit your wait time, you can call ahead & get an idea of when your stylist thinks they'll be available based on how busy they are at the time you call, & let them know when you plan to be there. It's best to call ahead for sure. Kylie also cuts my granddaughter's hair, & we've both had deep conditioning treatments which I highly recommend if your stylist thinks you need it. I've also had my hair detoxed after being on a lot of meds, so if you've taken (or are currently taking) meds, be sure & let your stylist know before you have a chemical treatment done like color or a perm so your stylist can tell you if you need to have your hair detoxed before you have your hair chemically treated. I've also seen other customers get their eyebrows colored, so if you want that service, they do that as well. They're a full-service hair salon.

I had a really bad experience here I went in for a color and cut I wanted them to match my natural color which is a dark brown and they gave me black. Not only that the cut was horrible!! It was super choppy and not even I had to go and get it cut again and so much shorter for them to be able to fix it?. The color they put on my hair made my head hurt so bad it was really strong and when I went to try to tell my stylist she was double booked and was working on the other client. They still charged me so much money!

I took my 15 year old grand daughter to Fantastic Sam’s in Shawnee Kansas.Erika was very interactive with her which helped her to feel relaxed and excited.Erika did a great job talking to her about the style my granddaughter wanted and how she would be cutting it.The good conversation Erika and the hair washing and haircut was a great First Time experience for my grand daughter.Thank you, Erika :)Requested style: Wolf cut ;) butterfly wings ;) shag:)Hair type: Thick and curly
