I had an amazing experience at the CVS location in Shawnee, Kansas on Nieman Road. I was in a time-sensitive situation where I needed a large printing order for a charity event within a very short deadline. Cheryl, the store manager, stepped in and took charge of the situation. She kept me informed every step of the way and worked tirelessly to ensure that the signs were ready on time.
Cheryl's dedication to providing exceptional customer service was truly remarkable. She and her teammate Brandon even stayed late after closing hours to make sure the signs were printed and ready for me. Their willingness to go above and beyond to help me out in my time of need was truly appreciated.
I cannot thank Cheryl, Brandon, and the entire team at CVS Shawnee enough for their outstanding service and support. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and willingness to help in a pinch have earned my loyalty as a customer. I highly recommend this CVS location for anyone in need of reliable and exceptional service. Thank you, CVS Shawnee, for your exceptional care and dedication!

Spent the past 2 days fighting with a nationwide discount card system outage. Have to press 5 buttons and ask to speak to a pharmacist twice before being transferred and left on hold for more than 5 minutes each time you want to speak to them.
As I’m on hold to get them to cancel a prescription they ran as picked up when I did not pick it up, I drove there and was still on hold while I stood in a line with nobody in front of me. 41 minutes from the time I started the call to the time I hung up when an employee spoke to me in line.
Whatever you do, go to any other pharmacy instead. Do not use CVS. Hyvee was ready with my med in 15 minutes and I spoke to a person on the phone 30 seconds after pressing 1 button every time I called.

Only went here because I forgot my meds, and my wife called them in for me. But the tech that helped me was a POS, and she needs some training on customer service. She was straight, TRASH!

Sadly, the staff are just too busy to care, listen to client issues, or answer phone. I had insurance change and asked them to bill under that. I had name change too and asked for update. They continue to bill other insurance even though i ask for new one to be used. They are too understaffed, busy, and chaotic to care and made me feel like a problem they did not want to deal with. I am beyond disappointed by this location.

Can't ever get any customer service, neither in store, nor over the phone. Something is always broken, drive through, doors, pretty much something all the time. Worst location in the area.

Just moved from Prairie Village a few months ago. The CVS at Corinth Square was great. Now using pharmacy at CVS in Shawnee (Nieman Road) and it is unbelievably bad. ALWAYS late getting scripts filled, can't find them, etc. I strongly urge anyone thinking of switching to this pharmacy to GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I will be.

I come to this CVS often. I waited 10 mins for my prescription. This isn’t bad, considering I picked it up at 7pm, just before the line picked up. The pharmacy tech who helped me pay for my prescriptions was nice. I never have a bad experience at this location!

Wish it was possible to leave a zero star review and I’m going to echo what others have already stated. This place is awful, every time I go to pick up a prescription, it’s never ready and I do mean every single time without fail! It’s not just this CVS, this is a company wide issue, it’s just awful. You get the wonderful message that your prescription will be ready after 2 PM, I go the next day and it’s still not ready? 24 hours after you told me it was going to be ready! If I had a dollar for everytime this has happened to me, I would have a ton of dollars! Avoid at all costs! Unfortunately for me with my insurance etc.. I have to put up with this silliness. The place is dirty, your prescription isn’t going to be ready and the employees have no concept of customer service

Hire more staff so you can answer the phone. On multiple calls on different days it just keeps ringing and no one answers. If you can't retain staff, offer more pay or benefits. I'll be transferring my prescriptions to another location.

Been on hold for over 30 mins to speak with pharmacy on where my script refill is. It's been 4 days. App is worthless

Had a strange experience here. I pull up and notice that I'm one of the only cars in the lot; I walk in and say hi to the lady who greets me and it seems like I'm the only customer in the store. Continuing on, I hear her yelling after me as I reach the oral aisle. Maybe I should have turned around at this point, but I felt confused and uncomfortable so I just go ahead and survey the toothpaste options before picking one out, hoping she just leaves me alone. When I turn around she is indeed gone. I'm thinking about whether there is anything else I want to get while I'm there, so I scan the signs and as I do so I hear her gruff voice over the intercom: "Aisle thirteen sirrrrr."I stop, confused, thinking 'is she talking to me'?I look at the camera and point to myself and I hear her sigh over the intercom before saying: "I have no clue what you're looking for, but try aisle thirteen."I'm thinking 'A. Why does she think I need help finding anything? B. Why does she think she knows what aisle it would be in? And C. Is she just sitting there watching me on the monitor?'I glance at aisle thirteen, and it says "First Aid". I do not need anything related to first aid.Instead, I proceed to aisle three and pick out a stick of deodorant. I'm still not seeing any other customers in the store, and I'm just hoping I don't need to deal with this lady up front. Fortunately, by the time I reach the register she's gone and I'm able to use self-checkout and leave without encountering her again. Who tries to 'help' a customer that way? No harm done, but just strange.

Feels very old and outdated. Products are regularly out of stock. Prices are very high, but that's standard for all CVS stores. There are rarely any employees to help, and checking out at the self-checkout is almost always problematic.
