If you are traveling up here for a game to enjoy the loudness of Arrowhead, and if you're an away team fan, please read on before deciding to go. Our experience was fun, but some things happened along the way. We were there for a Texans vs Chiefs game. Our team won, and we were cheering along the whole time for Houston. But someone in the upper deck kept throwing popcorn, gum wrappers, and other trash at us for rooting for our own team. This kind of behavior was unacceptable to have no matter what stadium it is. We were afraid we were going to get violated or beat up. My mother also had a near fight in the bathroom due to her wearing her Texans gear. So we were a little scarred; if you treat your visiting fans this way there's no way we'll be back. FIX THIS! Rant over. The stadium itself was alright; it's very nostalgic and even includes a Hall of Fame museum. All the former Chiefs legends, and equipment used from the 70s are included. Margaritas inside were good but not sure if they were worth $14. Every seat in the house is pretty decent, with a good view of the field. The tailgating can be a bit bizarre. Once you're inside, you either have to go inside the stadium when the game starts or leave the facility. It's due to an incident that happened elsewhere, so the safety is a big concern. Other than that, good tailgating parties and people that know how to cook good food! Other than the fan experience we had, we enjoyed the game. I just wish that some people would be more considerate and that the tailgate rules would be a bit less finicky. Will we be back? Not sure, unless we feel safer at Arrowhead.

Arrowhead is quite the experience! It has been mentioned before in other reviews it's the loudest stadium, and it's huge! I recently went to the home opener against the ravens and was pleasantly surprised with a few changes from last year. We bought red parking online, which was still $40. Last year we were directed to park on the grass very far away. This year we showed up quite tight to the game and they directed us to where tailgater had been, so we parked quite close. Last year getting through security was a mess. This year was so much better, lines actually moved. We had some difficulty finding our seats, but mostly because we didn't read the signs. I assumed once we got to the 300 level we could go around the whole stadium, you can't. So we had to go back down and then back up the correct area. The seats on the upper level are new, and there were comments around me that the new seats are not as loud as the old ones! The problem we had this year was to getting out. There was no real direction getting out and got extremely clogged! I thoroughly enjoy going to chiefs games, and would love to go again this year!

Let's Go Chieeefs! Arrowhead is awesome! Loudest stadium in the WORLD! Best fans, food, and atmosphere the NFL has to offer! If you've never been to a Chiefs you're missing out on life. The chills you get if you just sit back and soak in the sound of 76,000 people doing the tomahawk chop all at once. The smell of BBQ throughout the entire parking lot. Just overall all the best fan experience. Head over to the Hall of Fame room and look at all the former great Chiefs!

My parents and their best friends have held season tickets for over 20 years. They have been in the club level the last 5 years or so. I felt motivated to share some love for the home of my favorite NFL team after last weekend's visit to a pre-season game with my two children ages 7 and 4. The club level staff in the gathering/bar area by our seats (section 232) were super accommodating to our kids. They let us push two bar tables together so we could eat before taking our seats for the game. They club level attendants also got our kids certificates showing the date and score of the game as we were on the way out. Its nice to see so many personal touches in service in spite of the fact that Arrowhead accomodates nearly 71k fans for Chiefs home games. Sure attending an NFL game isn't cheap, from ticket costs, food cost and parking costs. But its people like those that work at Arrowhead that makes for such a memorable experience, that it's a great venue to take a family, even one with young kids. The club level has tons of bathrooms, so even when tikes or wives with small bladders need to go often, you don't have to wait in long lines or walk a half-mile from your seats. The food is better than what you'd expect, and for those longing for a tasty beverage, not only do they have a full selection of beer, but also full bars. The club level is great, as you can get in a full 2 hours prior to kickoff. This meant plenty of time to explore, eat and watch warm-ups. I love that I'm able to bring my kids to experience the NFL, as it is meant, a live sporting event, with lots of in-game entertainment, an amazing show before kickoff, and all the NFL action of our favorite team! Great Job Chiefs!

Arrowhead Stadium is a wonderful sports and concert venue. So loud and fun on Chiefs gameday. The only complaint would be the parking, as it takes forever to get out and get to the highway. Pay online for parking and carpool, to save a few dollars. Tailgating is strongly recommended.

Another great night at Arrowhead for the chiefs preseason game. The new seats are nice but they don't seem too sturdy. Maybe that plastic is stronger than it seems. Time will tell if they hold up to the abuse they'll get. The stadium will definitely be quieter without the old noisy seats to bang on. Some of the bathrooms still have the old trough urinals and it's funny to watch the younger generation walk in and they're not sure what to do. They go in the stalls once they see a couple dozen dongs hanging out. For some this is better entertainment than the football game. Make sure you check out the pro shop and get some great food. It's really a great place.

We did not go inside the stadium, just walked around it prior to the KC Royals game and they had locked down so you cannot see the field any longer. But it it Arrow Head home of the Chiefs! Anytime you can come visit it is worth it!

We took the kids to their first NFL Football Game. We decided to tailgate prior to the game. The tailgate experience was so fun. The atmosphere was really good and kid friendly. I was surprised by how many kids were there. It could have been because of it being preseason but it was fun and lots to do. There was a very stable police presence so that is always comforting. Once we were done tailgating getting into the stadium was very easy, the line for security was easy. We had an infant so making sure he had everything he needed and not be against stadium rules was nerve wrecking but I was more worried than I needed to be. We had great seats in the end zone. The stadium didn't seem to have much activities for kids to do, such as a place to play etc. but our 4 year old didn't mind at all. She never seemed bored she loved the atmosphere. I love that they have a texting information for security in case of an emergency or problem. That's comforting when attending with small children. They also have lots of restrooms and they were cleaned it didn't have any ventilation so it was extremely hot inside. We decided to grab snacks from the concession stand and the prices weren't cheap, but for the prices we paid it was worth it. They unfortunately don't offer ice fountain water which was hard because we had a baby. You have to either bring in a store bought water bottle or purchase one from them. Which was crazy high! Getting in and out was fairly easy and they had officers guiding traffic which made it easier. We look forward to going again to cheer on our beloved chiefs.

Arrowhead is one of my favorite places to be on earth & that's why I'm a season ticket holder. The loudest stadium in the world and the most passionate fans I've ever been around. You don't just sit in your seat and watch football at arrowhead, you participate! When defense is up, we stand up and get loud until we lose your voices. Lol Chiefs fans are very respectful for the most part and that's what makes arrowhead a very family friendly place to be. Every seat at arrowhead is a great view. I do prefer the middle, lower level seats as a personal preference, but I have sat all over in that stadium & never had a bad view of the game. The stadium is beautiful and well kept. Everything... like food and drinks are easily accessible. Lastly, Parking is much more expensive at the gate, so if you have the opportunity definitely purchase a parking pass online before the game. It's worth it. Go Chiefs!!

I was here for Fan Fest 2019 and it was a wonderful experience. We went through security like it was a real game. So I felt safe also. If you wanted a free adult beverage you had to wait in a small efficient line. To check identification and that was ok But this would never happen on game day. The course was Free hamburgers with all the fixings if you need to load up same with hot hogs. Free chips and free cookies and Free pretzels and free topsy popcorn and free pop and bottled water. I was impressed because if wanted 2nds that was no problem and the line was smooth and easy. The Chiefs do this twice at training camp and it's wonderful also. Just one of the small perks and appreciation by the owner Clark Hunt.

Such a great place filled with great people! I love the energy you get as soon as you step foot into the stadium. If you've never been, you're missing out!

One of the absolute funnest and high octane stadiums I've been to yet! The fans were incredibly friendly and hilarious-as a Seahawk fan everyone wanted to tell me how the stadium is louder than Centurylink Field (it's not, close, but not). The fan are serious drinkers so if you're offended by fun and obnoxious cat calling-don't attend. Sign up for the Zpass Uber type ride and you'll get into and out of the stadium really easily for an inexpensive fee. Absolutely highly recommend you visit here-great great fun.

Loud and proud. This stadium knows how to take the noise to the next level. There is something nice about the nostalgia of the new generation of football players playing in the shadows of generations past. It looks and feels like a stadium that's almost 50 years old but has enough modern touches to make it great place for attending a football.

To understand Arrowhead Stadium means that you need to experience Arrowhead Stadium. It all starts outside of the stadium in the parking lot, where fans will camp out and tailgate up to six or seven hours before kickoff. They'll bring grills, radios, satellite tvs and everything under the sun to get the party started. Once you're inside the stadium, the real fun begins. It's undergone a renovation, which has really helped when you're moving on the concourses, but they left most of the important items alone. The stadium has the same bowl shape which helps keep the sound inside, which is especially helpful when the opposing team has the ball. It also kept the football shaped scoreboards except they've been upgraded with LED screens for high definition highlights. The PA announcer also does a good job keeping the fans engaged, especially when he announces that it's THIRD DOWN when the other team has the ball. Some random tips: * Bring your walking shoes. It's a nice little walk from the parking lot to the stadium and once you're there it's another nice walk to your seat. Please make sure you're wearing comfortable shoes because it will make a difference. * Please look into prepaying for parking. As of this update, prepaid parking is $35 however parking on game days is $60. You can buy parking passes at the stadium or through Ticketmaster. * Look for Arrowhead-WIFI on your phone. Once you connect, it'll not only be easier to download your tickets (Arrowhead has gone electronic,) but will also save your phone battery. * If you are a big Chiefs fan or a football fan in general then you might look into taking the Game Day tour. The tour will take you through the press box, the Chiefs Hall of Honor and will include some time on the sidelines while the team is warming up. Tickets are available on the Chiefs website. * Pace yourself. It's going to be a long and fun day. Please remember that you're not as young as you used to be and take it slow. If you are young, then I'm jealous, but please still take it slow. You won't want to miss the game or watch it from First Aid because you had too much fun in the parking lot.

Best venue in the NFL. I haven't been to all the NFL stadiums, but I've been to my share & this one is clearly the best. I came into chiefs fandom in early adulthood when my work took me to Kansas & Missouri for nearly 4 years. People are die hard chiefs fans. Not a lot of bandwagonners with this team. Loud as hell & rowdy. Feels more like a college game than NFL & I mean that in a good way. Love it every time I'm lucky enough to come. Go chiefs!!!
