This Is One Of The Veryyyy Best Hotels I've Ever Stayed At.. I'm a lady truck driver broke down in my truck. In Kansas City. They come picked me up from Peterbilt Dealership yesterday.to bring me to the hotel. Dustin Is Amazing..Booked the room for 3 night. Today I called the front desk. Dustin answered the phone. Which was a big relief an I asked he who. They would recommend to use for a taxi.. long story short. He give me a ride again to the eye docter. Which cannot say how much I appreciate him. Truly Dustin an This Place Is Heaven Sent..New management I hear.so don't believe any of the old reviews. This is a nice hotel. I travel coast to coast.Dustin your hard work an heart deserve10 Stars not 5. Thank you very much. You took sooo much worry off my shoulders

Well, to start, our family is in the area for work and my husband's company paid in advanced for two nights stay and when he went to check in, the manager was the most arrogant snob on the planet. He talked down to him as if he didn't belong there. So instead of staying here we left. Went to the Marriott across the road instead, which for the same money is a much nicer stay. And not to mention it's a no hassle, not a judgemental atmosphere. Not to mention on the way out he threatened that he had a pistol on him. Way to stay classy. 0 stars.Safety: Not safe at all being the manager threatened to have a pistol.

We stayed here and the New Hotel was really nice. Clean, professional, and a nice hot breakfast with all the amenities. We added a second night because it was close to all the stores and restaurant.Rooms: The rooms had double beds and granite counter tops really niceNearby activities: I didn't look for things to do because we spent our time with family. It was Christmas weekend.Safety: They gave you an electronic key to enter the building and your room. There was always someone at the front deskFood & drinks: They had a small store with reasonable price and coffee, tea, lemonade was free.

I have stayed there about once a month for the last year. Besides the elevator not working one time, I have never had any issues with them. You do have the normal hotel stuff to deal with. The fact they are a no-pet hotel means there are no fleas to deal with. All in all it's not a bad place to stay.

This location is a pure garbage pit.I was a walk in stay for 2 nights. I was charged for 3 nights and the desk clerk claimed there was nothing she could do?! How about not over charge me!The coffee and tea station was not clean. When I went to get hot water it came out brown. When I told the clerk they said "sorry, it's not clean" ?Breakfast was supposed to be served at 6 each morning but was not ready till after 7.The lobby was always full of employees complaining about working there while obviously not keep the place up.The pool area seems cool but they have their chlorine balance all the way off and every floor in the building is choked by the smell.Noteworthy details: The whole place stinks so bad! ?

Nice hotel that is being run into the ground as fast as possible. The ONLY redeeming factor is that it is a newer hotel, so they haven't destroyed it yet. I had paid for my stay with points, so I didn't have much of a basis to demand a refund. If I'd been paying out of pocket, I would have raised a huge stink about it.My estimation is that management/ownership is a mess, and they are incredibly understaffed and mismanaged.1.) The room was dirty, obviously not cleaned.2.) I don't believe the sheets had been changed, there was some dirt and hair on them when we arrived. Luckily it was me and my 16YO son who aren't as picky as some.3.) Bathroom floor had standing dirt on it.4.) When we arrived at the hotel (friday), the water was turned off. They did get it back on for the night, and some of the next day. When I arrived back again the next night (saturday) it was off again.5.) On Sunday morning they served NO breakfast whatsoever, and had no signs or notice or anything. I found one staff person and the excuse was that the water had been off (it was off the evening before for a couple of hours). However, you could still serve 70% of the breakfast with NO WATER.

The Owner had a Rolls Royce with California vanity plate 555 5555. The owner also allegedly requests and allows the Shawnee police department to come on property and they literally walk around checking VIN #'s, plates and looking in cars. Two of my coworkers seeking quiet privacy in their vehicles at night have witnessed. The police we're waiting first morning across Midland Dr and pulled over a coworker and another vehicle for expired/improper plates, coworker was also cited for small amount of marijuana. The power went out for a couple hours to one part of 1st floor. The staff energy was a bit unprofessional and seemed to be extra people hanging out around entry and with staff in evenings.Don't understand the illegal search and snooping. Cost my coworker $1100 in lawyer and fines over expired plate. Staff finally admitted owner authorizes this. Im all for safety but over the top police activity.

This hotel has always been appealing to us because of the pool slide visible from the highway. Our room was skunky with something sprayed to mask the smell, creating a very unappealing smell. The carpets had multiple stains. The furniture had paint stains and drywall dust all over them. The pool area was tidy and the slide was fun, but the waterfall was not working and the water was freezing. The shower in the room had caulk coming off and visible mold between the cracks. When my daughter used the spout adjuster to switch the shower head it fell off the wall. I requested a new room and the staff accommodated us. The second room was equally repugnant with more red stains on the carpet. The bathroom was the same as the first and the ice maker on this floor didn't function. My child then cut her hand on the shorn knob when opening the closet door. $170 plus tax for this hotel is ridiculous. It seemed they were renovating during our stay which is good, but the drilling seemed to carry on later than should have for a hotel where people intend to sleep. We won't be staying here again.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn, to celebrate my granddaughter's birthdays. It has been a tradition to go to the Great Wolf Lodge, to celebrate, but due to their "new" fees, we will no longer be staying with them. I tried to find somewhere with an indoor pool, and found this place with a indoor pool including a water slide. We experienced some issues with our stay, and after reaching out to the Manager (Denessa Threewitt), she contacted me on her day off to resolve my issue. I cannot say enough about the above the norm customer service of Ms. Threewitt, she went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable experience. I have a feeling we have found our new "Family Tradition" spot. Thank you Ms. Threewitt, and thank you Comfort Inn for setting the bar for your hotels. In the current world of, "it's not my job!" and " I don't know how to help you!' It's refreshing to find Great Managers do still exist. As we say in Hawaii, Chee Hoo!!!!

It's been a rough stay. Stayed 2 nights in a suite. Checked in at 6pm on Friday. Guy didn't even greet me. Just looked at me with a blank stare. Told me if we had a party, we need to invite him and he wouldn't say anything. Wallpaper peeling everywhere. Shower door is too hard to open and close, probably broken. The amount of mold growing on the carpet by the non functional ice machine on the 3rd floor is ridiculous. Had to have been there for weeks! The black hairs on the bed was a nice touch when climbing into bed. The tailgating at 10pm in the parking lot was just an added touch I was not ready for. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

Noisy room and front desk unwilling to switch rooms. Was told they could and then told they couldn't. Pool area very run down, elevator sounds like it's going to stop at any minute and plummet to the ground. Lots of hotels nearby that'd be better choices.

The room was not ready for 2. 5 hrs after check-in because they only have one housecleaning lady. There's NO hot water in the room. The ice machines don't work. Not sure what's happened to this place, but stay somewhere else....
