When I need parts for my tools, Clark's is my go-to. The guys are pleasant, and they have lots of tools to look at. Prices on their tools are very reasonable.

Terrible Experience - Avoid Clark’s Tool & Equipment
My experience with Clark’s Tool & Equipment has been nothing short of a nightmare. I contacted them in early August 2023 to repair my Paslode nail gun and was informed it would take 3-4 months, possibly extending beyond the holidays. Despite being patient and understanding, the service I received was consistently abysmal.
Upon attempting to drop off the nail gun in person, my wife encountered rude and dismissive behavior from the staff, despite my prior communication with them. It was frustrating to see such lack of professionalism.
Following multiple follow-up calls, I was met with incompetence and disregard. The excuse of tool parts being on backorder and the inability to locate my account were just the beginning. Promises of callbacks for updates were never fulfilled, leaving me constantly chasing after information.
Finally, today, February 28, I was informed that my nail gun had been set in the junk pile without ever being assessed. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially for a business boasting about its "great customer service."
As a construction company owner, I had hoped to rely on Clark’s for repairs, but their unreliability and incompetence have forced me to seek alternative vendors. Save yourself the frustration and avoid Clark’s Tool & Equipment at all costs.

On January 26th, Friday at 11:00am. My husband came in as he has done for over 20 years. My husband came in and was going to the counter and a bigger Hispanic male was there. The Hispanic male was sitting there asleep and snoring. My husband stood for over 30 seconds and no response from this guy. There was a bald man with glasses at the other computer register was telling my husband to come to him to check his items out like this has happened before. The Bigger Hispanic gentleman wakes up suddenly. This guy doesn't apologize at all. Then my husband then realized that in July of 2023 this same Hispanic male was sitting on the other side of the counter. My husband said the same man was asleep then. My husband said he woke him up by slamming his wrench he purchased on the counter. The quality of people are terrible here. In the past couple years it has been getting terrible. What kind of Manager allows this to continue? This cannot be something new. Is Clark's tool in Shawnee just that bad. My husband said a sleeping employee who he as dealt with twice in 7 months and the same thing going on. Sad.

When picking up my warranty-repaired vacuum, I shared that I had dropped it off last week. The clerk asked for my name, which was a negative engagement. While proficient, the clerk’s demeanor seemed a bit brash. Despite their expertise and excellent service, creating a more welcoming and cheerful atmosphere could enhance the overall experience. I still highly recommend Clarks Tool & Equipment, with a suggestion to add a touch of friendliness to interactions.

Great tools! Great Salesmen. I have been in over the past year numerous times and Joe always helps me. He remembers my son being with me and the antique cars we work on everything. Joe remembers what tools purchased months before the last time I was in Clark's by memory.Thanks!!

Used to like this place. Nice selection of toolsBut they will do anything to get out of honoring a warranty. Wasted my wife's entire lunch break. On what should have been her just picking up a tool that I had already been told was there waiting for us. Even after giving them the voicemail proving they had called and told me they had it waiting they refused to give her the part. Definetly not going back.

Great place went in to swap a defective battery and they replaced it with a new one no questions asked also I decided to walk around and decided to purchase some tools that I need definitely recommend this place for all your tools needs
