Kelly the bank manager at the Shawnee Mission branch has treated my husband and I with kindness and extra care. She had been so amazing with our family during a difficult time. Go see her, she is the best!

After years of being with Bank of America and ending up feeling like a grain of sand on the beach, among all the negative business dealings that came out, I opened my meager at that time account at BMW. I am not a native Shawnee person, so I have to say it was just a local choice. From the very beginning, my dealings were with Kelly Barry. She treated me like I was just as important then and has continued to this day. I've lived in Johnson County for now longer than anywhere. However, I grew up in a small all American town in another state where "everybody knows your name", or at least your family. Now this is the first time since the 90's I could speak with someone at a bank. I have to mention another employee with the same personal treatment, Jeremy. I've had some banking issues with fraud. That is awful for anyone, but I was treated as if my problem was number one.I must mention this story. I recently received the news of my brother's sudden passing. I was already experiencing grief from losing our mother just months before. Right before I was to fly out, fraud was discovered and I wouldn't have a card to travel with. While most all banks cannot provide a new card immediately, BMW worked hard for me and I was able to drive to the KCK location and receive a card! I was moving in a zombie like dream and shock state, but EVERY employee at both locations were more than kind and helpful. I know every bank has it's problems at times, but I think my experiences alone speak volumes to the lost world of personal and professional treatment from a bank.Thank you BMW, notably Kelly B, Jeremy and all tellers!

Warning do not bank here. I expressed an issue w this bank. And felt the need to expose this bank for not responding in a professional manner considering all the mistakes they made were on there behalf. Not holding a check, cashing it without my presence and now sending me charges dailey. Ok I do not understand how a bank is supposed to take care of the customer especially their money. But they are going to hand it out w no repercussions for there decision making and not replace my money in my account. I suppose someone else will have to review this type of unethical behavior that has been ongoing at this location.

I am a new officer of a club so I went to the branch in Grandview Mo. with the previous officer and there lobby was closed due to staffing issues. We needed to get this done today and it was early afternoon. We called the office in Shawnee and they said they could help us. So we went to Shawnee.Upon arrival we were greeted promptly by Linda Cunningham and advised her of our situation. Linda immediately took care of us. She was very polite and professional. Her customer handling skills are second to none. Then she followed up with a hand written thank you note.Don't see that much these days. Thanks Linda for all you do.Bernie

My husband and I dealt with Samantha Hammer today. She was incredibly efficient, professional, and friendly. I went back later in the day and met with other staff through the drive through window, who were just as friendly and professional.
So far our experience here has been excellent.

When I got my first bank account here I knew nothing, they sat down with me and explained everything banking to me. Really gave me a head start. Now, many years later I’m still banking here and have had absolutely no problems. They know me by first name when I come through the drive through and are the friendliest people in the world. If you live in shawnee and are looking for a new bank you should definitely come here.

Best Bank Midwest Branch! After struggling at another branch to set up an estate account, I decided to try one closer to home to manage the account. Linda was so patient and helpful as I made deposits and had excellent recommendations for handling future expenses. I highly recommend this branch.
