Bear and Whiskey love going here for appointments, but I’ve never seen a dog who loves it at much as our Whiskey. Today we had to do car appointment- with the social distancing. After they brought him back to the car, he was not ready to leave. Then he cried in the car, wanting to go back inside, as we waited for our receipt. Nothing gives me more comfort when leaving my fur babies than knowing they WANT to go back to the vet! Especially after being neutered five days ago. All of these ladies are wonderful

One of the vet techs had been continually rude to me. My dogs were missing and I had to cancel my appointment, there was no sympathy to my dogs, their clients, being missing. I asked if they could please call me or give someone my number if maybe they found them or brought them in and her response was “isn’t it already on Facebook” in a very snippy tone. We live close and love to support smaller businesses but i will be happy to drive further from now on to be treated like a customer and feel like someone cares about my babies.

I have been taking my fur babies to Dr. Pratt and Dr. Jacob for the last 10 years and they are wonderful! The amount of time, care and attention they give their pet patients is so appreciated. And, both are really kind about explaining what is wrong and reasonable options for care without judgement. The front desk staff are also super helpful and great gals. I wouldn't take my "kids" anywhere else!

They are very caring!! They care for your animals like they are theirs. Dr. Kate is awesome!! The staff is great!! I am glad they are my fur kids drs.!!

Cannot say enough good things about Doctor Jacob and the entire staff. I had an older, seemingly healthy dog, that suddenly got sick. Rushed him to an emergency clinic (over a thousand dollars later) was told it was an an abscess. Regular house call vet from Valley Center either over booked or didn't want to get dirty couldn't make a home visit (to follow up) and within 2 weeks my dog was blind. Checked on him before work and noticed he stumbled. Upset, called VC vet which "couldn't fit him in". Called Sedgwick and they made time for him. Diagnosis Lymphoma. Doc at Sedwick went above and beyond. Spent a long time explaining options, non judge mental, sat on the floor with me, consoled me. I wanted to take him home because he was stable at that time. Wanted a little more time so I took him home. He had several good days but stopped eating. Took him in today and he peacefully left this earth. A difficult, heartbreaking situation, was made easier by the compassion of the group. Hugged by staff and not made to feel guilty. Sammy is at peace and I will get there.
