3320 S 9th St, Salina“I am attending the Altrusa International District Eight Conference. Altrusa International of Salina, which I am President, is the host. District Eight consists of clubs from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. The hotel is very nice. Since the conference is in town, I did not reserve a room. The staff is so helpful. There is a bar, restaurant, and market. Monique went above and beyond to take care of us. I had dinner there Wednesday night. I ordered the cheeseburger with a side salad. The food is very good. I also ordered a lemon drop martini. Delicious!”

1220 W North St, Salina“While traveling through a massive storm was about to hit both Kansas and Oklahoma so my family and I decided to stop and get a hotel to wait it out. The price is what caught our eye but upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the BEST customer service. The rooms are basically brand new, spacious, and clean. We will be staying here during our travels through Kansas from now on!”

401 W Schilling Rd, Salina“Very accommodating staff. Clean room. Nice, hot tub and spa. Nice pool temperature. OK breakfast but could be better. Overall good though. Thankful for their shuttle availability to get to KWU for my workshops this week. Recommended for people like me traveling on business whether you’re alone or with a companion.Walkability: The ponchos, Mexican, fast food next-door is fantastic but it is drive-through only after hours.”
“I gave it a five star because the rooms were clean, staff very friendly. Not a fancy hotel by any means, but not a dive either. If you need a clean, quiet place to stay that won't break the bank, this place should do fine.”
“This is a lovely hotel. It is clean and orderly, and all the workers are friendly and helpful. I would especially like to mention the woman who made our breakfast. (I am sorry, I didn't get her name.) She was so sweet and helpful and our breakfast was cooked just perfectly and was fresh and delicious.Rooms: Our room was very clean and lovely. I have stayed in more exensive hotels that were not this nice. I definitely recommend this Holiday Inn.”
“I needed a place to stay only a single night since I’m in town for work. The man at the desk is super sweet! I was soooo late to check in. Check in is at 3pm, and I check in at 11pm? so happy he was a nice guy. He was also very informative, and wanted to help direct me to where my room was located.I felt a little on edge walking outside to my car since it was so late at night. But of course as you should do while traveling I brought protective amenities.Checked for bugs place was clean! It’s super cold outside right now and the building its self isn’t sealed up very well but I prefer it to be cold rather than warm. The AC unit and the fridge are really loud when running I just ended up unplugging the fridge. The room smells like a gramas sweater that she’s been smoking cigarettes in all day. So a little bit disappointed in that. They really need to Ozone the rooms.Bathroom was clean low amenities. Didn’t really need much since I packed what I needed. They have really good channels on the TV.The parking is close and convenient. I can see my car out the window??Only thing that really disappointed me was they aren’t doing breakfast in the morning. Apparently it’s temporarily down.Honestly the service and the cleanliness, (disregarding the smell) is what made me want to give 4/5 stars.Rooms: Clean, just smellWalkability: Very close to roomsFood & drinks: Vending machines up front, no breakfast was served during my stay.”
“Drove in from New York absolutely exhausted. Christian at the front desk was an amazing helper getting me into a room without a reservation, thank goodness for a room available. Thank you for your help Chris. And thank you choice!”
“My stay at Hotel was simply wonderful! The staff treated me like family, the room was cozy with a breathtaking view, and the food was absolutely delicious. It's more than just a hotel; it's an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!”

“Good family place for the weekend me and my family went there this weekend and it was really nice it had a pool and it was near the beach it was really close to other places it was just about 5-10 minutes away from some places”

635 W Diamond Dr, Salina“First let me start off with I stay at Motel 6's all the time when traveling between Kansas and Colorado every weekend. Are they always great? no - Are they inexpensive and convenient? yes. With that being said this is THE WORST MOTEL 6 I have ever stayed at in my life. I was in room 106, it's on the back side of the hotel, apparently the side where all the "permanent residents" stay. The people in the room left of mine were associated with the people in the room right of mine and they were in and out and in and out and in and out between the two all night long, making sure the slam the door shut as if it were never to be opened again each time. Not only were they in and out of the rooms but they were in and out of the shower, I feel like I heard the shower turn on and off at least a dozen times an hour between the 2 rooms. When I say all night, I mean until the sun came up. I must say their decorative taste is amazing though, consisting of cardboard curtains set up and cluttered garbage scattered all over flowing into the outside side walk aka their front yard. They have the whole set up though with a grill and lawn chairs, I am sure the school district is top notch along with the low HOA fees. All jokes aside though I highly recommend staying somewhere else, I promise the extra $10 you'll pay will be worth it.The police patrol the parking lot fairly often throughout the night, thankfully they stop using the "WHOOP, WHOOP" loud siren before 1 am. I have never felt more unsafe in my entire life and I have my CCW on me at all times. Needless to say I didn't get any sleep thanks to my "neighbors." They sit at the doorway and smoke and it doesn't smell great. There were burnt holes in my comforter, so I wouldn't be surprised if they used to rent out room 106 in addition to 107 and 105. I almost forgot to mention the trash car, a car with 5 industrial sized bags stacked on and around it, all night, and it rained so it was soggy trash in the morning. You can hear every semi-truck on the highway, and if the crazy people are quiet you can actually hear bugs crawling around between the bed and the wall. I woke up with one bug bite on my back and I only managed to lay on top of the bed, in my day clothes with my own blanket for a few hours. It's also very close to a small airport that seems to have plans and helicopters landing all night long. I will be certain never to stay at this Motel 6 ever again, but I will still be using Motel 6 in general. This place needs a lot of work though and seriously don't put out-of-town guests between people living there. It was very clear I only booked one night. And please don't tell me "no vaping" when you see my vape when I check in, there's literally people smoking cigarettes while sitting in a chair with the door open - the door that has a decorative "No Smoking" sign on it.All jokes (even though I am not kidding) aside though - don't stay here.Rooms: It's Motel 6, you can expect burnt comforters and tweakers crawling around all night long riding their clankity bicycles around at 330 in the morning. Floors are cracked and dirty, I wouldn't have noticed but I was wearing white socks. Showers are also pretty in the bottom, it looks like the bottom only gets cleaned once a month, if that.Safety: Not a safe place to be, especially as a solo traveler, they have sex trafficking warning when you check in at the front desk. People live there at the motel and they stay awake all night and slam doors and yell and walk their dog randomly 7 times an hour. The security blots don't even work, they are hanging on by a thread.Noteworthy details: It's trashy. The people there are sketchy. The rooms are not in wonderful shape, they are run down.”

2110 W Crawford St, Salina“Front desk clerk was pleasant and efficient. They were remodeling and it was a mess. Kinda sketchy surroundings. Checked in at 10:30 and left at 5:300 next morning, so an okay place just to get some sleep.”
“Need more plug-ins for electronics. Only one plug in because one near bed didn't work.
Rooms: Our room was clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of towels.”
“Definitely a great updated hotel. Don't judge by the outside. Rooms and bathrooms are new and updated. Beds are very comfy. Definitely worth the money. I parked my truck and 40 foot trailer in front. If no room for truck, there is a truck stop across the street.”

3932 S 9th St, Salina“The room was cheap, nice, and comfortable. The Hotel is being renovated. Very friendly hotel. The owner or manager was giving away furniture and beds to those in need. He was busy and still found time to help others move furniture. Seeing someone help that many people, made my 4 nights there, great”
“Downstairs coffee was water and when I asked someone to take care of it, they said there was too much to do to fix it. Also there was no trash bags in the trash cans in my room. May be a small need but you would think they would have that so you could throw away things that could potentially make a mess. Over all was clean and at least the staff were nice when they told you they couldn’t accommodate. lol. You have a nice place, step up the service.”
