Sold my truck to Jay Hammond at Conklin. He went the extra mile to make the experience pain-free.

Conklin has always taken care of my vehicles well. They are friendly and informative. You can ask the “dumb” questions and they don’t mind. Prices are comparable to other places. Great friendly service.

I came in a day before my scheduled transmission service on our Lexus (my mixup), and they still accommodated me. The service was done faster and LESS expensive than the estimate. Great job!

Conklin Chevy saved the day for us. We were returning to Virginia after a cross country trip pulling our large and heavy fifth wheel with our 2022 Silverado 3500 HD dually.
Not long after leaving the campground the check engine light came on. I checked with the dealership in VA where I bought the truck and found out that I could continue to drive the truck if the check engine was NOT flashing and the truck did not go into limp mode. The Service Rep in VA strongly suggested we find a dealership and get it fixed as soon as possible.
Salina was the closest place so we looked for a Chevy dealer there. Thankfully we found Conklin Chevy of the Conklin Automotive group. We called them and they got us an appointment the next day.
We explained that we would have our camper. They graciously allowed us to store the camper in their back lot while they looked at the truck. Andrew the service writer was extremely knowledgeable and professional! He explained the whole process to us including diagnostics, factory warranty and extended warranty coverage and costs.
The truck was taken in expeditiously and the technician went to work diagnosing the problem. He was in contact with GM to verify what he was seeing as he had never seen it before. Andrew kept us informed of the whole process.
The staff offered to take us anywhere nearby for lunch. We declined and instead waited to see what was going to happen with the truck. A hostess offered to bring us snacks and drinks if we desired.
When the diagnosis was made and confirmed by GM it was discovered that the necessary part(s) was not in stock. The Parts Deoartment ordered what we needed and had it expedited. Again, Andrew briefed us and kept us abreast of exactly what was happening.
It was determined that our truck was just out of the 36,000 mile warranty. Thankfully we have an extended warranty. Andrew took the information , contacted the extended warranty company and processed the claim for us. Andrew after speaking with the tech working on the truck said he hoped to have us back on the road by 12 the next day.
We got a hotel next to the dealership and slept in. We received a call from Andrew about 8:30 in the morning saying the truck was done! Apparently the tech had prepared the truck as much as he could before he got the part. When the part was received all he had to do was install it and road test the
