We chose this hotel because we’ve Stayed here several times, and my kids loved the pool with the slide. Showed up to check in and was told the pool is closed for maintenance. I asked if we could cancel, because I had just booked it the night before through their website. They said no, I asked if we got a discount, NOPE! This is horrible service. They said they posted it on their website saying the pool is closed. You have to click in to (hotel details) to read that it’s closed. For a person that has stayed here before and knows they have a pool with a slide, means you’re not going to click in to the hotel details. I became a member when I booked, I now regret it, And will never stay here again.

The staff here was very accommodating. There were always staff available for all the small details of my trip. Im picky but this place had a very nice atmosphere. The rooms were tidy and smelled fresh. And the rates were top notch, wont break your wallet for a room.

The pool died our hair green! The service I received at the hotel was impeccable, the rooms were fine, but my hair is GREEN! Also, I've called twice, and I've been promised the manager will call me back. It's been over 24 hours and I'm still waiting. I've read more reviews now, and I see why this place has issues. Management seems to be a problem. :( We love Best Western, but this is not one we would ever recommend.Update: I finally spoke with the manager. He has no integrity. He said he gave my husband baking soda for my hair. 1) I was traveling without my husband. 2) I never got baking soda. Therefore, someone else had the same issues with their stay I did. Then he told corporate there had never been a problem with the pool. I've never been spoken to by a person providing a service as that man spoke to me. Sadly, because of him, we will stop staying at Best Western. I don't need that drama or disrespect in my life.AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!Noteworthy details: Pool dies your hair green!!!

This hotel is accommodating. Not the nicest, but definitely a good stay for the price. Microwave, Mini fridge in room. Drinks in lobby. Excellent contental breakfast (meat, eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits & gravy, cereal, drinks, packaged baked goods, fresh fruit etc). The breakfast attendant was amazing. The rooms themselves are a bit run down, not pristine but the beds were fresh. Cable TV, Wifi, everything you'd need in room. Would stay again.

Hands down one of the cleanest and best hotels we have stayed in this past year. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. They had eggs, bacon, cereal, lots of different donuts and yogurt and my favorite, biscuits and gravy. Mmmmmmm good..Rooms: Very nice and clean roomsFood & drinks: Lot of choices of fruits, tea’s, coffee, apple juice and the food was fresh and hot.

We called morning of check in to shift our reservation to an alternate best western secondary to a large snow storm limiting anyone's ability to drive to Salina. We spoke with multiple “customer service” reps and they refused to assist because our cancellation time had expired. We are also best western reward members which seems to not count for much.

Sofa bed was torn on one side, when we lifted the mattress there was rust residue like the bed had been wet. Morning front desk staff was very rude at breakfast.

I have stayed here several times while traveling with my dog from Colorado to Ohio and have always had a great experience. The staff is always so kind to both me and my dog, who is a sweet pit bull. The rooms are clean and there’s free breakfast in the morning. Thank you so much to the staff. You’re all so great and we appreciate you.

EDIT: found out we were charged for a room that we didn't use, every phone call made we were unable to talk to the "person or persons" that could of rectified the situation.After some difficulty getting our rooms, everything went smoothly.The lady running the breakfast room was a delight. Her service was 5+ stars. She was quick in cleaning up the tables and checking if you needed anything else.

This place has charged my card twice after I cancel in the appropriate time! Do not give any personal information to them because obviously they save it. Overall, it's a nice hotel it's old but very nice!

lady at desk was wonderful but manager Kamden is very creepy was just me and my daughter (two females) and we were assured that No-one would enter our room unless we requested it but our second day we had to return for something we had forgotten to find out that someone had been in our room and turns out it was at the request of the manager!! yes Kamden (he might of even been the one in our room!) the very person who had assured us this would not happen when we were upset about it he started cussing and kicked us out of the hotel and also charged my credit card for an extra day, be very careful if you stay here especially if you do NOT have a man with you!!

We were displaced by a house fire, lost everything. We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and the staff has been more than accommodating. I recommend this hotel.

This was the most disrespect I have ever experienced in a hotel. After being informed by the "General Manager" Kamden that they would not enter our room for any reason unless we requested, they most certainly went through our room. The air conditioner was changed things were moved around, etc. Unacceptable. He is NOT an honest person and is not trustworthy. Do NOT stay here if you want an honest stay. This was all after we had to change rooms twice before the 3rd room was acceptable and had not been stayed in by other guests and had a working AC Unit. We were very understanding about everything up until people were in our room without request, then we were understandably upset. Instead of apologizing, Kamden called us names and started cussing at us and threatened to call the cops. After his behavior began to escalate I began recording for my safety and the safety of my mother. Best Western claims they want to make it right if you're are dissatisfied. Clearly that did not happen though we had no intentions of continuing to stay in a place where a man was making us females feel threatened and unsafe. Don't stay here. It's just not worth what they may be capable of, except for a sweet young girl that was so appalled in how her boss handled himself. We will NEVER stay in another Best Western. BW can thank Kamden in Salina for that, we will also tell every single person we know and all of them that we don't that will listen on our social media platforms.

It's 100 degrees outside. The AC isn't working very well. Instead of just moving us to a new room, the front desk calls their maintenance guy at his house to come up and fix it. It's been an hour and a half waiting on the maintenance guy. I would call them back and tell them to cancel but then I wouldn't know if the maintenance guy is coming or not. So now we are in an 80 degree room and we are just waiting on some random person to enter the room at some point in time. Great. Totally worth the $200Update: Maintenance came by and got it fixed. Updating from 1 to 3 stars. Still a little steep price for this level of quality but glad they got it fixed.
