“If I could give this business 10 stars I would. I was traveling from Florida in my motorhome and was stranded a few miles from their shop. I called them because the Ford dealership highly recommended them. The service manager sent out a tech who scanned my motor and cleared the codes so I could drive it to their shop where they further investigated it. Turns out that it was a simple issue and they advised me to have it checked out when I arrived at my destination. They only charged me one hour of time. They very well could have taken advantage of me since I know nothing about diesel motors. They were truly a god sent and obviously well versed in diesel motors since they had a fleet of UPS trucks outside their facility!”

They handled it really well and made the extra effort to make sure we were cared for. The work done on the back of our damaged family van was excellent. We would use this again if there was a need.”
“Drove in from out of town for Graduation. Picked up a nail on I-70. Stopped in at the Honda dealer to be told it would be $40.00 to plug a tire. Greeted at the door here at Discount tire. I was shocked when Collin told me the repair was free. I told that I hadn’t bought the tire here. “Just want to keep people safe “, was his response. That is truly customer service. Next set of tire will be bought here. Way to go Collin.”

“After a very poor and inappropriate experience at the AutoZone on Ohio in Salina, KS, my 18 year old stepdaughter visited this location for a vehicle battery. The workers were very kind and treated her with patience and respect. Despite the extreme cold, they did everything they could to help her and explain options. When she was unsure, they called and spoke with her dad over the phone (she lives away to attend college currently). They treated her the way you hope everyone would treat a young adult away from home. We highly recommend this location over the location on Ohio in Salina.”

We're both in our latter 60s now and he's still going strong !! Best tranny man I know !! If you're needing any kind of repair work, he's got your back! NOT just trannys !!”

“We were traveling across Kansas with our truck and travel trailer when we decided to stop at a rest stop. When we started the truck back up we got a warning that there was a problem with the connection to the trailer. We disconnected the trailer, cleaned the contacts and still had the warning. All the lights still worked and as far as we could tell the trailer brakes were working . We looked up in the trucks owner’s manual and it just said to see a dealer.
So after spending 2+ hours at the dealer and not finding anything wrong with the truck, they referred us to Lorenson Industries. It was after 5 o’clock but they answered their phone. Told us that they could get us in three days later. ? We were only planning to spend one night in Salina, KS. After some more discussion they said we could come in first thing in the morning and they would look for any obvious problem but they wouldn’t have time for anything more than that.
So we arrived at 8:10 am the next morning and they got us in right away. In less than 20 minutes they found 2 broken wires leading to the rear drivers side brake on our trailer. All was fixed and we were back on the road in less than an hour! Thank you Kent Lorenson for squeezing us into your busy day. We truly appreciate it!!”

Arrived on Tuesday pulled in om Thursday morning. As promised, a master mechanic started on my truck. Five hours later. All was fixed and I'm back on the road. Well , hundred miles down the road the fault came back on. I returned to the shop and it's been a week now. Due to warranty I'm told that they are required to due a lengthy diagnostic process. I paid $1900.00 the first time and I'm now paying over $200.00 an hour. It's been a week. As an owner Operator I'm limited on funds. I'm being told they will work with me on the labor. It's day 7, no progress today I'm told my tech is off today , hmm, fingers crossed.”

“I'm going to be completely honest with this review damn near everytime I go to get an oil change from anyone I usually get bare bones explanations on what they're putting in my vehicle, but the service rep I dealt with when I went in was more than exceptional. They went through all my options and add ons and didn't try to upsell me anything in the slightest. They were incredibly patient with me and when I was told my wait was going to be an hour or so I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. EXCEPTIONAL. Would give 10 out of 10 but there's only 5 stars. Keep up the good work folks”
