“We have just loved carters so much. My kids have been super happy here. We have unfortunately aged out of their program but we had such a good time here, we just moved to the kc area and childcare can be really stressful here so I am super grateful to have found them. Everyone there has been great. I’m sad our time there wasn’t longer.”

“Over 20 years ago I was single and new to the city. While looking for a church home, my first experience was Christmas Eve at Rolling Hills. I felt the spiritual warmth that evening. I begin attending Sunday service, and was immediately blanked with its members hospitality. Within a month, I was asked if I’d consider being a deacon. It was the best “yes” I could’ve imagined. The amount of new friends and new ministries that came from that one “yes” are staggering. To this day, the hospitality and warmth of all who enter through those doors as we grow our spiritual relationship with God together is life-changing. I LOVE my church and church family!❤️”
“First of all, thank you so much Canterbury ❤️My little girl is completing one year here. Since it was her first school, she was crying literally every day for almost 3 months. The amazing teachers are taking care of her very well. They gave advice to us and by following that we could see improvements in her behaviour. Now she is very happy to go to school and meet her friends and teachers. I must say that the teachers are very patient. I really like activities like maths puzzles, alphabet puzzles etc.Moreover, the teachers are receiving the kids with a happy face and hugs ?The management is also good. They are conducting events in which parents can also join.They are sending daily updates with photos, which I would really like to see.I am happy to send my little girl to these amazing people.”

“Our kids love attending Special Beginnings. We love that they are a faith based daycare that teaches the kids how to pray and allows them to celebrate religious holidays. All of the teachers take the time to get to know each kid. It really has a community/family feel! They have really neat playgrounds outside for all the different age groups, and they feed the kids great snacks and lunches during the day. I would recommend this daycare to family and friends!”
“My words really will not adequately convey how much I love and appreciate Kids at Heart. The owners, Bergen and Casey, along with longtime director Kim, have built such an amazing community there and you really feel like family. Every teacher knows all of the students by name (even ones not in their class) and it’s so reassuring knowing that my child is cared for by so many people. You’d think drop offs would be a disaster but my daughter actually reaches for her teachers when we arrive which really goes to show how much the kids love being there!! My absolute favorite has to be the footprint and handprint art that we have collected. Thank you for sending home art that I actually want to keep ;). Seriously, we love you KAH and you will always hold a special place in our hearts!!”

“Our children have been really successful here. Staff are very attentive to students. Academic and behavioral expectations are very high, and my children have thrived under it. Your children will be ready for kindergarten. Federal holidays are the only days the school is not in season. Not only is this convenient, but speaks to the staff’s commitment to their children.”

“We loved our 3 years at Primrose Ward Parkway! Administration runs the school very efficiently and are responsive to any questions or concerns. Across the board from early preschool to Pre-K the teachers treated the kids like family and taught them so much. We have a child with multiple food allergies and asthma and medical needs were handled very safely and professionally. 5/5 stars, highly recommend!”

I love the environment, the staff is always friendly, the app is something I love (Receive photos and updates on their eating/bathroom breaks). “The Director Taylor is awesome. A great communicator, kind, and genuinely invested in the kids and staff. The teachers in the infant room, Mary, Krista, and Sondia are fantastic. Patient and calm and genuinely care about the kids. Infant childcare is a tough job but our baby boy genuinely enjoyed going to school (after the initial stranger danger). Childcare is a hard job and the teachers are there to help raise our children. I am thankful for this school and for their part in our child's journey!”

“I have 2 preschool aged enrolled at Rising Sun Learning Center at 103rd and State Line Rd for nearly a year. The staff is caring and very skilled including certified educators. The administration provides training and support to the staff so the programming is a rigorous educational experience as well as a fun, socially, and emotionally supportive environment. My littles have some developmental delays and they have made a tremendous amount of progress in the caring and supportive environment. The staff and the enrolled kiddos are diverse adding to the enrichment of the programming. I could not recommend them more highly.”

Anissa does an outstanding job taking care of the center and Maribel is truly a gem as well! If you are looking for a place that will love your kiddo’s as much as you do it’s here!!! The atmosphere is positive & family like.”
“We are so grateful we are able to send our kiddo here. We are very lucky to live nearby and I’ve been able to go everyday to breastfeed my child over my lunch break. A delightful but unintended consequence of this is that I get to spend time each day in his classroom interacting with his teachers, and I witness firsthand how much they care about each one. Lunch and bottle time is busy, but they are total pros with each kid. It’s a super supportive environment for both parents and babies. The kids have great open floor space to move and learn. The teachers meet each kid at their developmental level, and clearly care deeply about each one. The entire staff really makes an effort. They’ve been great with baby led weaning and accommodate all feeding needs easily. It’s not easy to get into, so I would call as soon as you learn you are pregnant, but if you can get a spot it’s absolutely a great environment!”
“Great school! My son is constantly exceeding all the expectations of his age group and I believe a large part of that is due to the lessons taught at the school vs just play time all day. Teachers are always so nice and keep me informed on my sons daily progress.”

“As for me I have the utmost respect for the Kansas city Kansas school districts as well as the other School districts all over America, it's just pretty sad that our Educational system is in turmoil and shouldn't be, because our schools use to be a place where anyone could go to seek refuge and someone in that school would reach out and could help give you some kind of helpful advice or even direct you to whatever social services you may need according to your situation. Now the schools are in Turmoil everywhere to no fault of its own. She supported my son when he really needed it and when others hadn’t. The teachers are super sweet and they have taken care of my children like they would their own.
