We had our first visit to Village Pediatrics today for our 2 month old and couldn’t recommend it more! Our total visit time, including wait time, was maybe 45 minutes. The front desk staff and nurses we met with were super friendly, and the best part is that our pediatrician, Dr. Slaymaker, is very V-friendly and is a big pro-parent advocate when it comes to you deciding what is best for your child, as opposed to making you feel gaslighted if you challenge the standard V schedule. We can’t recommend this office/Dr. Slaymaker enough and are looking forward to our next visit. ?

Not sure how people, mostly men, are complaining about long wait times for walk-ins? That's literally anywhere. I anticipated an hour visit for my 4 month check up and it was spot on. If you want a quick visit, do a virtual visit duh! From front desk to actual doctors, this office is amazing. Check in process was minimal if you complete the online registration. I LOVE the split front entry for well and sick children so we're not all in the same space. Dr Pierson was so nice, informative and didn't seem to be in a rush. We discussed several topics in depth and while she recommends things she leaves most decisions up to you as the parent. I hope my children can stay with her thru their childhood. Then bring overbooked is testament to how amazing the Drs and staff. Anybody that thinks differently can please exit, leaves more flexibility for when my friends and family switch here.

The office has very poor time management skills. Go here if you want to have to wait 2+ hours in office. The CNAs that escort you to your room dont talk very professional with patients right there and they also spend a lot of time on their cell phones instead of focusing on patient care.

We have had nothing but great experiences with VP. The NP are wonderful and warm, and Dr Pierson is always lovely when we see her. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and kind, and they care very much about their families, as much as they care for the children. I highly recommend them for your child’s general care. They have children’s urgent care available almost daily as well, which has helped us out more than once!

It’s important to note that there is no way inside of the building except for stairs, so pushing a stroller is a no go. This is strange for a pediatrician office and is especially unaccommodating. When a mom takes her multiple young children into the doctor and has to manage to carry them all each time, it becomes more than annoying and makes you reconsider your choice of office. I’m still giving four stars because it’s a nice office with nice people, and we absolutely love Jessica Hughes and would follow her anywhere.

We have taken all three children here for their first two years of care. Unfortunately, I believe that we’re going to have to look for a different provider. They are incredibly overbooked, disorganized, and Poor communicators.I find it hard to believe that they can stay open in such a prominent area that demands good service.

We really enjoy the doctors and the nurses. We feel like they do a really good job of treating and explaining the situation to us...but unfortunately they are just way too overbooked and do not have a very efficient process of seeing patients. Trying to hold a sick 9 month old child that just wants to run free for 2+ hours is not fun or manageable.

We have been going here for a few months and see Allison. Our girls are very well taken care of. Everyone is always warm, kind, knowledgeable, and they take good care of us!

My kids have been going to Village Pediatrics since birth, and they are now 15,14 &11. I’m pretty sure we have seen every provider in the office over the years too! Both the medical staff and the front office are excellent. We always feel so well cared for. Im so grateful for this place!

The doctors, NP’s and nurses are great but the rude administrative staff and the long waiting times is what made us decide to transfer to a different pediatricians office. You wait 20+ minutes to get taken back to a room, then you wait another 20+ minutes to be seen by the doctor AND then another 20+ minutes for vaccinations. Every appointment has been at least an hour and 30 minutes. The practice seems to be mismanaged and getting appointments was becoming hard. And the front desk staff are extremely rude. I had emailed the office manager about a particular instance that happened with two people that worked the front desk and got NO response. It’s sad we will be leaving our doctor that we love but it’s not worth staying at a practice where you are treated the way we’ve been treated.

Reasons why we left this practice:Extremely long wait timesRude administrative staffUnresponsive to patient concernsIt's sad so many reviews say the exact same thing. This is a poorly run practice.

I would not recommend this practice. The office staff are extremely rude, the wait times are horrible even with a scheduled appointment and the office staff are condescending and just unpleasant. The doctors and nurses are great. I give the 1 star because you can't even show attention to a patient concern with the practice or change the way its operated after countless reviews complain about why they are leaving and its all the same reasons. Rude behavior from staff, long wait times, and inconsiderate of family situations are why we are leaving.

Dr Pierson is personable, attentive , and very knowledgeable. She explains things that both parent and child can understand their health and well being. The nurses are all wonderful! The front desk staff over last year have gotten so much better, they have new staff that are nicer and more helpful. We’ve seen other APRN providers here as well and they’re great.

Dr. Slaymaker is the best and the staff treats our family like their own. Best practice in town!
