I bought a bottle of tequila for a cheaper price than Iv seen in many of the competing liquor stores and they had a wide selection of craft beers and bourbons. Jacory was very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit!”

That has been my experience since being introduced to natural wine, and it has exclusively come from this lovely place and the people therein. I have never left Big Mood without having learned something new (about wine or otherwise), enjoyed a fun variety of wines, and met some cool people along the way. Richard is a fountain of knowledge, and as a novice wine drinker, I appreciate how approachable he makes the world of all things natural wine.

BUT!!!! ROBBIE a cashier that I have never seen before made me feel like NEVER GOING BACK!!!! He was so rude as though he did want us to buy nothing and get out of here… I will go back because this is the first time that has happened so I will go back to test the water but he made it very awkward and unpleasant but the store is always clean and has been pleasant…. “We were in Kansas City looking for liquor stores where we can buy a pick a pack of beer on ball flavors non IPA for my father. The place we were at didn't have a damn clue what we were talking about even though we called first and somebody had confirmed it with us over the phone that they did have it. We bumped into one of this places distributors and he was kind enough to help us and to direct us to another location where we could get what we needed. This place is employee was kind courteous and very helpful with a situation he didn't even need to be involved in but he was kind enough to step up and help us out even though he didn't work there.”

Now you just know a place that has been open that long has got to be a top tier establishment. “Brookside Wine and Spirits was amazing to work with for our wedding reception in April 2024! They were great at communication. I had even accidentally scheduled the wrong date with them and they were flexible with being able to move it to the correct one, even though it was no fault of theirs. They allow you to sell back any unopened liquor and drinks which was fantastic so that nothing went to waste. The two bartenders who served at our wedding were fantastic and so much fun! We could not recommend them more and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!”
