we purchased a pallet of osb. after we opened it and used a few sheets, we noticed mold all through the center of almost every sheet. Home Depot said there was nothing they could or would do about it because we had already opened it and used some. very poor quality and very poor service. don't recommend Home Depot! be careful buying pallets of material, never know what junk they've bundled in it! we will be shopping Lowe's from now on!

I have a bone to pick...two pics, one is a cactus with a real flower, the other a cactus with a flower hot-glued onto it. That is deceptive marketing & I don't appreciate it. It's insulting!

We drove over an hour and a half to rent a floor sander from The Home Depot in Pittsburg, Kansas. We rented a big square floor sander for a week, and drove back home. The next day, we got up fully anticipating getting our floors sanded in the next few days. The on/off switch for the sander wouldn't work right. The handle kept sticking in one position, on the floor in a flat position, without coming back up. I don't know how many people can sit on the floor while sanding floors with a big sander, but I am not one of those people. I called the store, and the guy I talked to said I could switch it out the following day with a different type of sander. So we drove back the following day after work. The two high school students told me that I could switch it with the same type of sander, but that was it. They were rude about it, while I was trying to explain why I was bringing it back 4 days early, saying they couldn't do anything. I called the manager today, and he said, even though we weren't able to use the sander at all, I was still being charged for 3 days, which is $50 less than the rental agreement for the whole week. I called the corporate office, and was basically told the same thing. I flip houses part-time, therefore spend an awful lot of money in that store. From now on, I'll take my hard earned money somewhere else, and to a place that's more friendly about their faulty equipment. I Don't recommend renting Anything from this store unless you don't mind rude customer service and junky equipment

Service desk = clueless and lazy. Paint dept. = understaffed and clueless. Doors & Millwork = clueless & understaffed but at least the young man tried to help us. Everytime I come in here there's an issue or no help.

ordered a countertop to be installed. paid $1200 and thought we were good. my husband wanted a different sink. went back and ordered the sink. wouldn't let us pay when we ordered it. salesman repeatedly asked"who did you work with?" during the sink selection. installation went like a breeze. Great installers! The trouble started when I started getting voice mails about additional charges. Finally got a written statement. Went to Home Depot to pay and they couldn't find the bill. They guess I've been sent to collections and will just have to wait. Couldn't pay in store. Im sure that billing won't be screwed up at all. Don't buy anything that has to be installed!!! They get you on the back end coming and going!
