What’s the point in being open until 11 if you’re gonna close ten minutes early, came to grab a last minute item I forgot from ann earlier trip and got locked out. Not to mention the previous time I came I had a worker being rude to me ☠️ usually everyone is nice but some of the self checkout workers or older ones just are always in a bad mood. Otherwise, everything is usually ran pretty well and have a decent amount of items to work with.

Worst Walmart ever. Took a wireless earphones back, that won't turn on nor charge and they refused to take it, even though I had a return barcode from the website. Per another Walmart they were supposed to take it back and per a phone conversation with Walmart online customer service they should not have refused it. I would not recommend trying to return anything to the Paola, KS Walmart. Those people should be ashamed if themselves!! And Walmart should fire them!!

Think it's inappropriate now that there's locked in sections at the store that to go buy makeup/nail polish (including children's play makeup polish I bought for my 4yo) that the only exit entrance has the checkout directly in front of a wall of locked in s** toys, co****s, and more and it's very clear what the items are. Like please put it somewhere else, whoever made this design choice has got some serious issues. Put it back where it was instead of on full display near the entrance of the store. Thank you. I will never shop in the makeup section again because of these issues. I find it very inappropriate for young children to see these things when I'm just trying to get her some play makeup and nail polish. It would be different if it wasn't on full display behind the only entrance/exit you are forced to use to purchase makeup since the area is locked in. Just a very bad design choice, I'm not looking to buy s** toys when I'm buying makeup, where it was previously made more sense categorically (was near the medicine/supplies).
Update: They called me and said it was moved further back on the wall and moved perfume up front. Still not going back there again with my kid cause the place is locked in and she'll still see it when we shop in there. (I went in there to buy her the Justice kids play makeup kits and some Smuckers lip balm).

Absolutely hardly any customer service, only self check out mainly. Usually, only one legit checkout is operational because that's were they sell tobacco. Prices are still way too high. Selection in the Paola, KS Wal-Mart is luck laster they use to have alot more options and also run into alot of expired items. And the online shopper employees are always always always in the way. There has been countless times were I have been ran into by those huge blue shopping container carts that sometimes they're just left there in the way when shopping. They should do all the online shopping during the night after they close or make the carts they use smaller because half the time they can't see over the carts. Thats a hazard.

Quick and cheap like all other Walmart's. 6/1/23 update. It never fails to be out of stock of at least one item we need. Very understocked. 5/24/24... Still the same
