All I wanted was to see my pre-approval rate for buying a home because it's promoted to take less than 3 minutes. After putting in all of my information and letting it be know I am not purchasing a home at least for a year, I receive a phone call from zillow to get me approved today. You can not force me to buy a home right now or give up something I don't have. That just frustrated me so much that I'm re-thinking buying a home.

Lie Lie Lie Lie all lies
BAD COMPANY EXTREMELY BAD
We started our process back on 03/03/24. Here we are now in 07/23/24, our original loan officer either left or was terminated.
I don't know or care at this point. Closing dates have come and gone the listing agent & the sellers think we are the ones dragging our feet.
Zillow has cost us our hernest. Money because in my opinion of the lack of responsibility and accountability.
We have had 2 loan officers, and still nothing.
The absolute worst experience we tried getting a survey ordered and an appraisal done.
Then today 07/23/24 I get an email about starting the loan process.
Does anyone there have a clue about what is going on Are you trying to cost us this property will be going with a different lender.
Please, no one use these people. In my opinion, they don't care about people, period.
Very interesting the response from Zillow has a phone number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service Google can record your response and use the information for further reference I think I'll be contacting someone concerning deceptive trade practices.
And wouldn't you know that email address is not valid fly by night company in my opinion.

The entire company does not know what they are doing. Delayed every single process. Took forever to get back. Would not recommend, they are wasting everyone's time and leading people on. Any local small lender will be better fit than these people. you all need to take a hard look at Putting Clients First.

I've had nothing but a positive experience with Zillow Home Loans.
They worked with me dealing with a difficult seller and had my back the entire time. Robert Martin a loan expert and Kim Thatch were amazing and super prompt to deal with. My realtor Bryan Dunleavy in Greenville sc was just awesome too!

Got reconnected with someone who has no idea what they're talking about. He said to go and get a non qualified mortgage loan. We are already in process of getting a qualified mortgage from another lender. They missed out.

I keep getting emails from Zillow. I have clicked on the Unsubsribe but all that does is tell them they have a valid email address. I am so fed up with the continual harassing emails they send me and cannot find a way to make it stop. Please read all the other negative reviews before using them...

Chad was very knowledgeable and available but was not transparent or honest about rates after getting our approval and situation. After putting us in a tough spot stoped answering texts. Be prepared for dishonest sales practices when financing through zillow.

unresponsive, unreliable, not customer service friendly. as a veteran from who used mortgage lenders of America previously. this company and loan officer mike alley is a 100% waste of time. my referrals / active duty will go somewhere else. Any local small lender will be better fit than these people. you all need to take a hard look at Putting Clients First.

Tried to work with them online to see what they have to offer. As soon as I completed the information, I had 10 different mortgage companies call me immediately and not one of them was actually Zillow. For days now I got dozens of calls and texts from different companies about mortgages. Very bad harassment that is relentless. All Zillow does is sell your info. Do not work with them. Its a scam!!!!!!

Very unprofessional. I have owen multiple investment properties and a few primary residents the last few years. I have worked with different lenders and By far Zillow has been the worst. I am comparing rate just as everyone should and the loan officer straight up hangs up on me. I DO NOT recommend a company that is rude and unprofessional. If they treat you like this from the beginning what makes you think they will treat you any different through the rest of the loan process.

I recently notified Zillow about a con artist listing a property as for rent, that clearly lived in. In the two weeks since, they have not acknowledged that they are taking action against the scam to which at least 16 applications were sent. That is 16 families personally identifiable information, which Zillow by law is required to protect. Completely unsat. We are a military family affected by Zillow's inaction.

Absolute worst since they take liberty at doing what ever they please with your submitted information and will hold you hostage on their butcher table since they pull your credit without your consent. stay away as far as you can from those blood suckers.

Do not waste your time with them. They will give you the run around. Just go to a bank. Hate I even attempted them first. Got all my information and ran my credit report I talked to someone twice and haven't heard from anyone in over a month.
