Vinyl Renaissance is permanently closed. They appear to have a website selling what's left of their inventory.

Went by the store today, and the closed signs were up and fixtures being loaded out.

So sad that they are closing. I loved the atmosphere of the place and they had a pretty good selection of CDs and vinyl to look at.

Ordered item for Christmas gift morning of 12/21 before 8am and paid extra for priority two day shipping. If the seller actually cared about getting items shipped on time I would have had a Christmas gift for my friend. Thanks for ruining my holiday . I can understand why this store is closing and it's due to the incompetence of the owner. ZERO STARS AND AVOID THIS STORE

I'm sorry to see this place close! They were such a cool establishment to buy, sell & trade records.I loved them downtown OpKs, w/ the winery in the back & had to hunt down the newer location, only to find they were packing it up. The vibes, music & personality will be missed?

A shame they're closing due to retirement. Great collection of LPs and CDs, audio equipment, and band posters (many signed).

Been to this record store multiple times over the past year. They have great selection, friendly & personable staff, and host really fun events. I never leave empty handed, and I truly have a blast whenever I make the journey out to their shop.10/10 ✨?✨

I'm not overly fond of this place. I felt ripped off after buying a vintage record player there when I realized how much I could've just spent on a new one. Multiple people on the phone couldn't even tell me which cartridge they had replaced on it, which was infuriating. I also bought several records there and spent nearly a hundred dollars. I'll admit, its what the hobby has become, and though I hadn't gotten back into it until rather recently, its just become too expensive for even rather unorthodox artist interests. I typically have albums from the 1960's to about 1989, which is sort of my cut-off point, but I'll be honest- when a 10 dollar Laura Nyro album sounds worse than the copy my dad left to rot in his basement, that's pretty disappointing. Its the nature of the medium, but at the same time the markup is just ridiculous wherever you go now. I guess the only other thing that irked me was the fellow pushing Ornofone cartridges. Like, if you're in a record store you mostly know what you have, and I had been in a few times mostly just catching backup till I had some money for a more modern turntable. I know what I have, it doesn't need an overpriced Ornofone cartridge, but I understand that they're a part of your business. The nicest dude there is a bit older and surprisingly had heard of Diamanda Galas, but told me he hadn't run into anything yet. Most of the guys there are friendly, but the lack of knowledge in regards to my purchase is a bit annoying. I've since recouped my loses as they don't really have a return policy in regards to older turntables. I probably won't really come back here, as most of my positive business trips have been done over at Vinyl Heaven- who might lack the sheer inventory and size, but aren't as wrapped up in themselves that they forget about imparting a little bit of interest for the next generation that comes along. The last thing I'll add is how uncomfortable most of my interactions with one of the owners/ employees have been. I came in a month or so back because a friend of mine had borrowed the vintage turntable for some records and thought he had bent the stylus, he was wrong after further inspection, but I still ran up there just to grab a new stylus in-between the assessment. I got very weird looks in general. I take good care of my equipment, and would never purposely damage anything, so however you feel about that, don't let that show to your customers. Accidents will and do happen with delicate components or older audio equipment. It would be great if there was just somebody who was good for handling general customer service there in my opinion.
