I would not change banks. I'm very pleased with UMB. Only a mile from my house and easy to get to. Just don't care for the new drive up. Seems less friendly and personal. I was a teller at Bank of America. You get to know the people on a daily basic. Can have a conversation and feel like you have a friend. New technology isn't always good.

Danny Bishop is extremely knowledgeable in banking and will go out of his way to make sure your needs are met. Above all he is someone I trust and can count on him to get the job done.P.S. I wish you would bring back the Popcorn and the Pop-A-Shot machines.

I have recommended UMB to several of my friends. However, I did warn them about the surveys they would be asked to take at every time they went to the bank.

I was headed to the farmers market and needed some smaller bills, so I stopped in the drive-thru at this shiny new branch location. I was a little surprised not to be greeted when I pulled up, so I pressed the call button and was greeted with "Hello?" Not, "Welcome to UMB Bank, how can I help you, etc." I said I needed some change and he said send it in, so I did.He then said he needed my ID and sent the canister back for it. Ok, fine. After that, he asked if I had an account with them, which I do not, at which point he said he could change about $100 of the $150 that I had sent. Now, I get that banks want to serve their own customers, but if that's so important, couldn't we have started with that question? And since it's a bank -- not a gas station or convenience store or someplace that might have limited small bills -- I'm not sure how making change for another $50 is that big of an issue.In the end, I (mostly) got what I needed, but I'm not sure it needed to be so prolonged, and based on this experience, I'm certainly not interested in becoming a customer.

I was extremely satisfied with how Danny Sargeon, who is a Personal Banker at 80th and Metcalf, managed updates I wanted to make to my accounts. He was responsive and got back to me right away with updates. Great customer service!
