Such a clean store. Helpful/welcoming employees as well. I’m always in there! You can definitely tell that the employees are so passionate about beauty!

Such a pleasant experience at Ulta Beauty! Encountered a beautiful ( in looks and heart) young woman Amaya Cowan who's professional input and guidance led me to yet another pleasant encounter with another beautiful ( yes in looks and in heart!) young woman. Amaya your soft spoken words and overall conversation was uplifting and comforting. I appreciate you and your knowledge of " Beauty". Thank you for all you have done for me thus far looking forward to future input and recommendation from you. Sincerely Mary J French

Came to this location and spent FOURTY minutes shopping around with multiple lovely associates helping my boyfriend and I out. And I went to the register to pay and the girl was extremely rude. I had to run out to my car to get my ID. I’m 30 years old and this lady told me to call my MOTHER to get permission to make a purchase. My mother and I share an account which is why we are DIAMOND members. Not letting me use my ulta credit card that I am an AUTHORIZED user on.
I will stick the the location on 119th in Olathe or the new one on 169th in OP, who I went to after and purchased my items with ZERO issues and the MANAGER of the store checked me out. I’ve been in customer service for 10+ years absolutely unacceptable attitudes from the cashiers (mean girl vibes).
As a Latina women I definitely felt profiled. And treated unfairly. And as a company that promotes DEI, you need to train better. the person before me was not treated like I was. Terrible experience and embarrassing. Do better ulta. And start treating all customers the same.

I'm sure the staff here is very nice, however, when I say "no" multiple times about signing up for an account or their rewards program or whatever it is they're pitching to me at the checkout counter, I mean no. I thought no meant no these days. I probably said I wasn't interested in signing up about 6 times (kindly, I might add), and even my husband chimed in a few times as well, but this was met on deaf ears as the checkout employee continuously asked for me to either enter my number or sign up because you get x,y, or z benefits which I don't care about. Lady, I'm just here to buy nail polish...and it was the closest store to the location I was at which is the only reason I went there. After going back and forth quite a bit I finally felt flustered enough to enter my number which showed I didn't have an account like I said. And then she signed me up anyways. -_-
Does this interaction matter in the grand scheme of things? No, but I haven't felt as embarrassed or ashamed about just wanting to purchase a product and leave. Not every customer that comes through Ulta is going to be a lifelong customer which returns on a regular basis and has uses for coupons/sales, etc. I have nothing against the employee, she's probably trained to get customers to sign up (on pain of death it seems like) but dang, listen to the customer. If I say no, please take me for my word and move the transaction forward. It's quite odd from a customer standpoint where I state I'm not interested and the employee continually ignores me to my face in real time. Again, nothing against the employee, but I think some nuance is needed here.

I had an Extremely disappointing experience
here today . From the moment I walked in, I was not greeted by anyone. Despite walking past multiple employees, not a single person asked if I needed assistance. It felt like I was invisible.
I eventually had to approach two ladies who were engrossed in a conversation at the register, making me feel like I was interrupting them. To make matters worse, one of the employees hung up on someone over the phone right in front of me. The store atmosphere felt like a high school clique, full of mean girls.
In a beauty business, shopping is supposed to be a relaxing and fun experience, but I couldn't wait to get out of there. The entire experience was unprofessional and unwelcoming, both in person and over the phone. I will never return to this location. The management really needs to address this issue by calling a team meeting and teaching their staff the basics of good customer service. They are seriously lacking in this area.
If the staff put as much effort into greeting and helping every customer, regardless of appearance, as they do in chatting with each other and picking and choosing who to assist, it would make a significant difference.
This visit was a huge letdown, and I hope changes are made soon to improve the customer service at this location. So unbelievable.

I checked the app before coming to pick up a specific product and it showed in stock. Got here and they didn’t have it which was super annoying. I asked an employee for help and she was super rude just suggesting another product instead of helping me look for the item I had asked about. One of the most unorganized Ultas I’ve been in. Tons of stuff just thrown on the bottom of the shelves instead of hung in its place. A total disaster.

The employees at this location are always so nice and helpful. They will spend as much time with you as you need.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the store was pretty picked over but it was a Saturday and they were busy.

Sarah Tremonti in the salon is wonderful! She cut and styled my two children's hair and it was the best they had ever had and I'm very picky. I would easily feel confident in recommending her to anyone. Five star!

Honestly, the two times I’ve been to this location, I’ve had a very nasty experience with two different workers. Today I was looking for “The Ordinary” brand, and couldn’t remember the name of the stuff so I described it as “that red serum, it was viral on TikTok forever” the girl responds with “the peeling mask?” ( now I’ve never remembered it peeling so I go “I’m not sure I have a picture In my phone though” she shows me the Ordinary section, I see the exact product almost instantly. She then makes sure to rudely say “as I said and asked you before, that’s a peeling product” just the phrase alone isn’t enough to sound rude, it was her tone and her voice, the other girl who helped me seemed very sweet, however I got the impression I wasn’t welcomed…. The other time was a couple years ago, but it is what it is. I don’t really wear makeup much, but I am member I buy online often, however going into the store (I’ve maybe been in store 4 times in the past 6 years), things catch my eye, and I like to learn and read about the product, idk what the deal with this store has been. I’ll continue to stick to 95th street location if and when I ever do go into the store; just after my second bad experience here.

I got my hair done with Leila. She does an amazing job. She always listens to what style/color you want to do and my hair always looks so healthy afterwards. I would highly recommend Leila as you won’t be disappointed. I live 30 minutes away from the salon and wouldn’t want to go to any other stylist than her.

I have extremely sensitive skin and I was looking around lost for what to use. this girl introduced herself and asked me if I needed help finding anything I told her my concerns and she helped me find products that are good for my sensitive skin I believe her name was Olivia. she was very personable. she not only listened my preferences but also tried to get to know me as a customer to help me better. I will definitely be coming back and asking for her help every time.
