“Nice size walk in humidor with plenty of options and competitive prices. Small selection of cigar accessories (lighters and such). Best part though is the service. Visited twice in last week (Sat & Tues) and Carol (apologies if I got the name wrong) was extra kind, and provided just the right amount of service. Good job Carol!”

“The staff here are so kind. Not only do they have a very well stocked humidor, but their lounge area is comfy and unprepossessing. The clientele are also equally warm, knowledgeable, and from wide varieties of backgrounds...they're content to chat with others, or leave them alone, read, etc. There's none of the undercurrent tone prevalent in many of the more crowded cigar lounges, I've come across in KCMO. You know, the in your face style where everything has to show how big the screens are, how overstuffed and squeaky (and actually uncomfortable) their chairs are, or how overdone the man cave can possibly be like it's some competition to see who's better. No...no this place is comfortable, the people are comfortable, all and atop all that, a great variety, and fair prices.It's a tucked away spot, and so it tends to be much less crowded and well known to some degree as a result, but that's much of its perfection too. You don't wind up there unless you know someone who mentions it, you've passed it by enough times to be curious, or simply full on stumble upon it.It's some ideal grandpa's comfy chair and footstool, well made, well loved, welcoming, but not designed to impress others.And on my way out last time, I realized there was a sign that said furry buddies that are leashed are welcome! Now, I've never noticed Rover the times I've been there, but I'll double check that sign, and maybe I'll have my pup join me for a smoke and some reading!”

“I was in the Kansas CIty area for the weekend with my wife. I decided that because I was nearby, I'd stop into Cigar & Tabac. I am glad that I did! I walked in and started looking at pipes. One of the guys behind the counter said that he had something that I'd probably like to check out. He proceeded to pull out a few cases of estate pipes for me to look at. I wound up buying three! I also was able to pick up a couple of tins of tobacco that I had been wanting to try, but didn't want to order on their own back home (I of course already have more than enough tobacco in my cellar). The gentleman who helped me was very friendly, and a pleasure to chat with. I very much enjoyed my visit! Highly recommended!”

“For years, we've been customers of Lucas Liquor and were quite concerned when the business was sold to Total Wine Spirits Beer & More. With some anxiety, we dropped by the store to purchase wine to toast the New Year. On our list were a chocolate wine and a Moscato wine, Lucia. The store's layout was much different from Lucas's setup. Fortunately, we found "Dr. Don," in an aisle, smiling like St. Nicholas. We asked for his assistance in locating the two wines. He cheerfully led us to find EXACTLY what we were looking for. We were in and checked out in less than 10 minutes; grateful for the excellent selections and the exceptionally helpful Dr. Don!”
