Worst service ever. Never go to this place. Was asked to wait for 30 minutes and stylist didn’t arrive though I had prior appointment. Was asked to wait for another 15 minutes and had to return back without scheduled service. They promised 30% discount a day before appointment and then said 20% when I went there. Not sure how they are in business with such a poor service. The lady at reception was the rudest I have ever seen. Hope there was 0 star rating.

Got keratin express treatment which she said will last for 6 weeks but after 1st wash itself, hair is so dry and frizzy and very disappointing!!!

The new manager Aimee who is rebuilding the salon inside JCP is AMAZING! Instead of cookie-cutter color formulas, she custom blended the perfect color to refresh my grown out highlights, looking very natural! She also gave me a perfect haircut, thinning my loads of fine hair without a harsh razor.I absolutely LOVE IT going into the fall season! I will 100% be going back to see Aimee!

We called 3 or 4 times and got the answering machine so left a message. No call back. Called the customer service at the store and said what was happening. She hung up on us. We called the Oak Park JC Penneys and they put a manager on the phone. Brigett or Brittany I believe who said she'd contact the manager at the 135th and Metcalf store and have her call us. To this day still no call back. If this store salon has no business you'll no why. Horrible management of this salon.

I had a bad experience last year with one of the stylist, but decided to give another try with different stylist. Apparently, the master stylist did not even that kids haircut has shampoo and conditioning included. I informed him the same and was ready to pay full price for that(they had a coupon for the kid's haircut). My daughter got a bare minimum shampoo...NO CONDITIONING. I was told hat there will be extra $15 for long hair. I agreed to pay full price as I thought he would know. But after calling the salon, I got to know Long hair charges are only for chemical services; not for hair cuts. I don't know which is true, but I paid $40 for lousy shampoo and a trim. Never going back again.

I had one of the best experiences I have ever had. The stylist worked so hard to get me the color I wanted and at the best price. It was a color that they don’t do very often, so the salon manager even came in from home to help find the colors and make sure I got what I wanted. The stylist and even the manager didn’t rush to get done or hurry. They gave me the time that was needed to get it done. I would highly recommend Madi at this location. She was so nice, personable, and did a great job giving me the color of hair I was aiming for.

When there is no barcode to scan when using a foursquare coupon they do not know what to do. Massive confusion-Even though there is a code they can type in! How hard is it!?
