Requested for information 3 different times, and was never contacted back. Did not even hear back to come tour so cannot speak to actual curriculum etc., but the lack of communication was unprofessional.Edited to add: had previously called, and emailed with no response for information. First response from the school was the poor Google review.

I cannot say enough great things about Goddard Metcalf! The teachers and staff not only genuinely care about your child(ren), but also you as parents. We relocated to the KC area and settled on a different daycare and from the first day, I knew it wasn't a good fit. I contacted Jerri Dawn and explained the situation. She did everything she could to find a spot for our son (infant). From our first day here, we knew it was "home." I have NO concerns about leaving him with his teachers. They send pictures and give updates on his day. He is so excited to see them every day. They are truly the BEST!

We have been at Goddard for a year and it has been great for us. It seems like a well run place with good staff. All of the families I know that go here are happy as well.

Not a pleasant experience with their very best or old age experienced teachers . Better they learn to live in the environment where they can give EQUAL love , care and education to every one of the child. Never suggesting anyone to go to this school. Un co operative administration with not -so - kid friendly Rules.. better see other branches under this name.

This Goddard School is amazing! My daughter started daycare at 3 months and I was so thankful to have gotten in when I had to return to work after maternity leave. As a first time mom, I quickly realized it is very hard to trust your child with other caregivers on a daily basis and I quickly gained trust in the infant room teachers. All of the teachers have been wonderful and give me a peace of mind while I’m away at work. I believe this is difficult to achieve and for that I will be forever thankful. My daughter lights up when I drop her off in the mornings and I can tell she is so happy in her classroom. She is in wonderful hands on a daily basis. I would recommend this daycare center to anyone!

We have had a wonderful experience at Goddard for the last 4 years. We have had both of our boys there from infancy on. We have loved everyone from the owner, administration to the teachers. They truly care about all of the children. The curriculum is excellent, challenging and age appropriate. We toured multiple daycares when I was pregnant but this was the place that made me feel comfortable leaving my babies while I was working. It is a safe and clean environment. I wouldn’t send my kid’s anywhere else. Thank you!

Our daughter joined the Goddard School at just four months old. Within the first week, we knew this would be a life-changing place. We never could have imagined how much she would adore this experience at such a young age. Every one of her teachers has been incredible, and it's clear that the leadership is dedicated to the teachers well being too. Each day, they've designed engaging activities perfectly suited for each development stage. Our kiddo literally claps as we walk into the building each day and leaps into the arms of her teachers. This has been an incredible experience for her. This Goddard School has set her up to love school from the very beginning. What a gift.

AMAZING! Our son absolutely loved his teachers and classmates! The facility is extremely clean and the staff really make a solid effort to get to know YOU (the parents) too. Everyday after school we received a detailed email update that showed all of the learning that took place... it really helped me to feel connected to my son's achievements and growth. We were sad to leave but we will definitely recommend this program to friends and family. THANK YOU Jerri, Kristin and the rest of the amazing staff!!!

Both my daughters have attend this Goddard School. As a early intervention specialist and a speech pathologist I looked and looked for a developmentally appropriate placement for my children. I am very impressed with the program and the willingness of the teachers to learn new teaching techniques and get to understand the individual child. My girls looked forward to every day at school and I felt comfortable leaving my most precious gift in their hands. If you are looking for a developmentally appropriate school for your young child, I highly recommend Goddard, Overland Park.
