We enjoyed meeting everyone and they were so patient with our dog who was a rescue and has some fear issues. Will be returning soon for a nail trim for him. Many thanks to all!

No story: Check your bill, make sure that you’ve received all the services you have paid for, and that you’re not being charged for services that have not been rendered at all or will be rendered in the future. Also, prepare to be shamed if you are not wanting to try the most expensive option first. Two stars to give credit to other vets and techs I’ve seen there; yesterday’s vet was worth about 1 star, simply because he is alive and breathing and gave us five minutes.
If you’re a story person: If my sole experience was the most recent visit, and if I could award stars independently to the different parts of the team, then I would give five stars to the front desk and zero stars to the vet and his assistant. To be fair, I have had other experiences here with other doctors who have been wonderful. However, yesterday, the assistant manhandled my dog who was already anxious as a shelter dog and they couldn’t get any vaccines in her. How lucky for them because now I have to pay for a second vet visit just to get vaccines even though they just examined her. I was told they would give me three different medications to try with her at home for the next vet visit. I was there for a double dog visit, and my second dog suffers from seasonal allergies. In the spring, a better vet had given me a list of OTC medications to try before getting their extremely expensive allergy medication from them. I requested the list again and the vet was condescending and almost made me feel ashamed for wanting to try the less expensive option. Now, I love my dogs and they are part of my family; I don’t need to be shamed for looking for an option that works that is easier for me to afford.
For this particular visit, someone from the vet office called me twice while I was at work, but I couldn’t answer. They wanted me to Change my appointment to an earlier time. When I was able to call, I told them that I didn’t think I could get there but I did offer to move my appointment to Saturday. They said they had it worked out and for me to go ahead and come at my regular time. I still got there a few minutes early and when I was I asked if the vet was on time because I had some thing I needed to do for my son. I was told yes, but wasn’t seen for another 25 minutes. They spent two minutes, examining each dog and then manhandled one of my dogs for about five minutes trying to give her injections, which ultimately failed. My son called in a panic because he was worried he’d be late for his event upon which grade depends. I apologized to the doctor for having to take the call and told my son I would be there as soon as I can and hung up. I explained the situation to the vet and he said give me five minutes and I’ll be back with medication and the allergy list that you asked for. Fifteen minutes later, I was still waiting and now with no way to get my son where he needed to be even close to on time. I left the room and went to the front desk and offered to pay and leave. I said I would have to come back the next day for the allergy medication list and the medications for the other dog. Thank God, I didn’t just pay. The awesome receptionist at the front desk told me no problem I could call back and pay. I called back and was astounded to have a bill for over $600. I asked her to list the things that were on the bill and despite the fact that it had been a day since the visit, the vet didn’t correct the bill and tried to charge me for the three injections he didn’t give my manhandled dog, the medication I didn’t get my dog., and, of course, the five minute exam that I will have to pay for twice. Additionally, I was charged for a fecal test with no sample given.
Sadly, that one vet ruined what I felt was otherwise an expensive vet anyway, but was willing to pay for the service I received for my much-loved dogs from the other vet I have seen there. My advice: pay that vet less and give all of his trumped up charges to the front desk staff which deserves more than they’re being paid, I’m guessing, based on the

We have been coming to SVC since we had our first dog, Lilly Rose put to sleep. Our next two doge, Hoss and Gabe, would never see another clinic or vets. This place has been and will continue to be our absolute favorite. We became regulars on Monday nights with hoss, our Neapolitan mastiff, who we found out came from a puppy mill with what seemed like a thousand problems. During hoss’ lifetime we developed another family with SVC! Now, we see the new vet Ellie Petree, absolutely darling, very knowledgeable and sweet! Thank you so much Les Pelfry for starting this clinic and striving to make it better! Love, The Steeds

Great pet care here!! The entire staff is fantastic. Very informative and kind. They take your feelings into consideration but give you their best educated opinion on what you are there for with your pet. Also inform you on prices before doing anything with your pet so you are not shocked when you get the bill. Will continue to go here!!

Dr. Pierson is an AMAZING veterinarian. She is honest, loving, and so knowledgeable in her field and care for her fur patients. She has shown our family so much love and understanding during our visits. I would recommend her to everybody I know! The office support is amazing too.
