The employee Damaged my paint bucket when he slammed the hammer on the lid of my paint 4 times...he was also very rude. They should replace the damaged product. Bad customer service very disrespectful toward women. One of the workers walked past me 5 times checking me out, just to stock the 3 items on the shelf ..I felt harassed...I told them and he said he's doing his job. He slammed the hammer down on the lid hard, they ruined my paint bucket and the employee yelled at me and told me not to come back.

I recently bought a house, and I have made many trips to sherwin-Williams over the past few months. I’m not a paint expert, so I’ll take all the advice and help from experts as I can. At this location today I had McKenzie and Mary Katherine help me pick out paint today, and they were both so helpful and insightful.They welcomed every customer in the store, and we’re kind and courteous. Mary Katherine was very good at describing colors and resourceful when it comes to what shades bring out what color in natural light. I wish every trip I had to Sherwin Williams was like this experience. I would have saved a lot of headaches and money if I had service like this every time I went to a sherwin Williams store.The Merriam location has given me bad advice and was not nearly as helpful when it came to what products to chose and even gave me tinted blue trim/wood paint after I mentioned using it for my walls.Thank you McKenzie and Mary Katherine!!

My husband tried to purchase $1900 in paint today. The girl made a mistake and charged just $1000. Instead of charging the additional $900 they claimed all they could do was charge $1900 and contact their merchant to see what to do about the first $1k. He waited almost 3 hours and was told to leave the store and call his bank. I spoke with Joe who said he was the manager on duty. He told me he wasn’t going to be disrespected by a -insert racial slur-and hung up on me. My husband then went to another location and was given the same paint for $300 less. Interesting….

Absolutely terrible service.We took a can of SW paint in last week to be tinted. When our contractor opened the can an hour later, it was rotten (presumably from sitting in our garage). The rep at SW clearly would have seen that the paint was totally rotten (black clumps), but instead of saying anything, they went ahead and tinted it, shook it up, and gave it back to us without saying a word.I called and explained the situation and they told me to bring it in and they would replace it. I left work early to run back over to the store. When I walked in, he asked if I was the one who called, then smugly told me they wouldn't take responsibility for old paint. I wasn't upset about the paint going bad, I was upset about then sending us home with paint they knew was rotten and then letting me drive all the way back to the store instead of just saying over the phone that they wouldn't be able to do anything about it.I was angry, so I left the store leaving the paint can on the counter. The rep literally chased me out to my car trying to force me to take the paint can because they don't dispose of old paint.I called the regional corporate HQ and spoke with Michael Harden. He was very sympathetic and promised me a call back from the store manager. It's been a week and I have yet to receive a call from the store manager.

I've shopped at this Sherwin Williams store a number of times, but I've always been in the middle of a project, so I never stopped to write a review. The young man who manages this store is Deven Hulse; you'll recognize him - he's always smiling and eager to help customers and employees who often come to him with questions. Even though he's usually busy getting orders ready for painting contractors, he has taken time on several occasions to answer my rookie questions and ensure I'm buying the best materials for the job. Thank you Deven for making shopping such a pleasure and helping me learn how to do the jobs the right way!!
