I walked in for a birthday rewards and both of the girls were so kind and helped me pick out the samples. They were honestly the best! Then I was shopping around kohls and wanted to get their opinion on which ring I should buy but they had left and a new guy was working. He was so helpful and had an honest opinion on which one I should buy. Overall, everyone I had an encounter with that day was so friendly, kind and helpful! Thank you!!!
Plus the perfume samples are so amazing, I will definitely be back to buy the full size!

Unfortunately like other customers, I have also had a poor experience with the employees here. During my last visit on 9/7 I spent a half hour looking for a new foundation since the one I liked had discontinued my shade. There were two people working, and both of them checked in multiple times with every other customer who came and went, but I never once got asked if I was doing okay, if there was anything they could help me find, or even a hello. When they weren’t checking in with other customers, they were chatting with each other. It was 11:30am on a Thursday and they were not busy. When I was ready to check out, I stood at the counter for an uncomfortable amount of time before I had to go find them chatting with one another, and asked if someone could help me check out. I felt invisible. I gave 3 stars because I’ve been in once before, and didn’t have an unpleasant experience that time.

Horrible experience. Couldn’t give zero stars, so I had to give 1. Just left here about 5 minutes ago on august 31st at 2:45pm. 3-4 workers working and all of them would not leave me and my boyfriend alone, as in being all in our business like we were criminals. I bent over to read the label off of the caudalie section of what I ALWAYS buy when I go to sephoras. And the associate actually got right behind me in my personal space as if I was going to steal. It made my boyfriend so uncomfortable to see the way this associate got in my personal space that he backed up not knowing what she was trying to do. The whole vibe was “let’s watch them like hawks bc they will steal”. Felt racist and also felt very judgemental/prejudiced. I have never had a bad experience until this location. Really sad and disappointing. Will never be returning to this AWFUL location. PLEASE SEPHORA RE EVALUATE YOUR ASSOCIATES AND THEIR DEMEANORS.

First time here since Sephora transitioned to selling their products at Kohl's instead of JCPenney. It is right inside the front door and it looks so nice. I haven't been to Kohl's in years and I remember being very underwhelmed. The look of the store now is attractive and doesn't scream 'discount shopping' like it used to. The Sephora part is extremely clean, brightly lit, and well organized. They were sold out of several products which was a bummer, but they were also re-stocking at the same time, which was great to see. The two ladies working were friendly and helped me locate a product. Just like when Sephora was at JCPenney they don't have everything that is available at a stand alone Sephora store does, but they do have a good sized selection still. All of the prices are clearly marked and there were several items discounted 50%. They also have a lot of testers out to try, and as in the bigger Sephora store they have a decent selection of smaller and travel sized items located right by the checkout area. I was impressed with this store, and I will return when I'm in the area.

You should fire Lisa who is a customer service representative at your Overland Park store. She has the worst attitude and maybe she could keep it to herself. Treats customers like garbage.
