My fiancé got my ring from Dolgin’s, and I love it! They used a family diamond for the center stone and sourced natural sapphires for the side stones. I was a little nervous about buying from them because a lot of the sentimental jewelry I saw in reviews/on their website was bulkier and not my style, so I wanted to add a photo of my ring to their Google listing. Great customer service and discretion (I was at the store for a separate errand and had no idea my ring was waiting in the back). Can’t say enough good things!

Very nice people working here. Small shop, but able to provide many of the same services any big box store would while providing a much more personal experience. You can tell they care about working with you to find something you'll love. Highly recommend!

Dolgin's has been our Jeweler for over 25 years. It is a family owned business that takes care of their customer as if they were family. We would not trust anyone else with our jewelry.

I can offer nothing but praise for Richard Dolgin! The work may be fantastic but Mr. Dolgin's interpersonal skills leave much to be desired. I was greeted at the door with a frown. After a minute or two of looking at my ring, he told me he was not interested in taking on maintence or inspection of rings not purchaced from him. He explained his perfectly reasonable policy of not touching jewelry he himself had not sold (soldering, modification). I then asked if he would take a minute of his time to locate the GIA inscription on the girdle of the stone so I could confirm the correct stone was sent. He did not want to and made it clear that they were very busy & left the impression that I was not worth his time. It is a shame he left no room for future business, for example suggesting the stone could be reset into a setting of their design when they were not so busy.

Mr. Dolgin would do well to improve his interpersonal skills. It is little things that make or break a customers experience. Courtesy, tone, & willingness to spend a few moments, even when busy, to help a client can go a long way in forming lasting clientele.

I was a bit concerned about taking some small pieces of gold jewelry to Richard Dolgin because of someone's previous post, but I must say, I was treated with great respect. I took some small pieces for him to look at and walked out with a fair price. He has some great items that I hope to purchase in the future. He and his designer were very courteous and very kind. Would definitely recommend.

Richard was wonderful to work with when I came in to sell some unwanted jewelry. He treated me with respect and honesty, which I didn't find when getting bids from other jewelers. I was able to get a fair price and would certainly return to sell or buy from him in the future.

I came to Richard with the task of making a ring for my fiancé, who is an artist herself with very unique taste. I thought that I was being very picky and annoying, but they made me feel very welcome and dealt with me every step of the way. Worked with me until I saw exactly what I was looking for. My fiancé was stunned with how beautiful it is. In all, it was a pleasure dealing with Richard Dolgin.
